TOOLS NEEDED

  • Phillips-head screwdriver
  • Small flat-head screwdriver

  1. Loosen and remove the molded nut (A) by turning it counterclockwise. If it is necessary, use the supplied metal bar (B) to assist in removal by inserting it into one of the holes in the molded nut.
  2. Pull the ball shaft out of the wall bracket.
  3. Determine an area to mount the bracket. We recommend mounting it to a wood stud (C). If you must mount it on drywall, use wall anchors (D). Be sure that they are properly installed.

  4. Align the left side of the bracket with a stud (E). Place a mark at the top and bottom left side openings as well as the top right opening (F).
  5. Pre-drill screw holes where you made your marks. Ensure your holes properly align with the bracket (G). If you are using anchors, ensure the holes are deep and wide enough to accommodate them (H). Insert the anchors and tap in with a hammer if needed.
  6. Use 3 of the included screws to secure the top left, bottom left, and top right corners of the bracket. If you are using anchors, ensure that you are using the proper screws for your anchor type.

Frequently Asked Questions

How many Rockville Cube speakers should a home theater have?

A minimum of three speakers are required for real home theatre audio (left, right, and center). Five speakers are required for genuine surround sound (left, right, center, and two rear.)

What are the common problems of the Rockville Cube speakers?

Lack of audio output, audio distortion, blown speakers, the absence of bass or treble, and popping noises are typical speaker issues. These problems can be resolved by switching the output channels, turning down the level, or changing the coils, wiring, and fabric. New speakers can be immediately harmed by loud music.

How many watts is a good Rockville Cube home theater system?

How Much Wattage Do I Need for a Home Theater? Your theatre will sound better the more power it has beneath the hood. A high-power theatre really seems louder at lower volumes, which is strange but true. The best power level to have without ever having to worry about running out is 125 watts per channel.

How many watts does a Rockville Cube home theater system use?

The majority, and some even more, propose a range of 25–400 watts.

How far should Rockville Cube speakers be from wall?

Keep in mind that walls also reflect sound. At least two to three feet should separate speakers from the closest wall (especially if your speaker is in a corner). Many speakers have bass ports that face the back. A rear bass port that is too close to a wall will reflect sound waves, blurring time.

How long do Rockville Cube in-wall speakers last?

High-quality speakers typically survive up to 40–50 years before displaying any indications of degradation, depending on the materials they are composed of and the climatic conditions where the equipment is utilised.

How much depth do you need for Rockville Cube in-wall speakers?

For optimal installation, most in-wall speakers need 3 12″ of depth and most in-ceiling speakers need 5″ or more behind the drywall, but make sure to check the speaker’s requirements first.

Can I place surround speakers high on wall?

Where should I position my surround speakers? How high? The “go-to” placement is at ear level, but you can put them anywhere as long as the tweeters are aimed in that direction. Dolby specifies a suggested angle range of 110 degrees to 120 degrees in relation to the centre of your seat (from a horizontal line through the lounge).

How high should Rockville Cube in-wall speakers be mounted?

Although many in-wall speakers come with rotating tweeters that can help make up for installations high on the wall, you’ll get the greatest sound if you position the speakers at the same height as a freestanding speaker, which is roughly 2 feet above ear level.

Should I box in my Rockville Cube in-wall speakers?

In-wall and in-ceiling speakers often do not require the construction of boxes or the restriction of space. These speakers were created with the homes in America in mind.

Are in-wall or on Rockville Cube wall speakers better?

Due to the fact that in-wall absorption doesn’t affect the bass response of on-wall speakers, they sound slightly better. Compared to box and bookshelf models, in-wall and on-wall speakers offer significant space savings and a more modern appearance.

Are Rockville Cube in-wall speakers more expensive?

In-wall speakers are typically more expensive and larger in size, but they are flexible in location and help create a loud, expansive sound in your room.

What are Rockville Cube in-wall speakers used for?

In cinema setup, In-wall speakers are usually used as stereo sound and surround speakers. They are mounted behind the seats, left, right and also on the sides of the screen. In-wall, speakers are usually inexpensive but this does not mean that they cannot produce good quality sound with bass.

How do Rockville Cube wall speakers work?

In-wall speakers only affect the quality of the sound in one way: their restricted depth and width limit the cabinet’s volume to that which can be adjusted by adjusting the enclosure’s height. Even some in-wall speakers use “infinite baffle” designs, in which the wall acts as the speaker box.
