Product Information

The product is a 3,100 PSI Briggs & Stratton pressure washer
with the model number Mfg. No: 020685-00. It consists of two main
components: the Main Unit (80022379) and the Pump (80022459). The
Main Unit includes various parts such as screws, filters, valves,
fittings, and kits for check valve, water seals, O-rings, unloader,
chemical injector, easy start, grub screw & washer, water
inlet, and plug. The Pump also includes screws, filters, valves,
fittings, and kits for check valve, water seals, O-rings, unloader,
chemical injector, and easy start. The product comes with a Torque
Specification Chart for different hardware grades and sizes.

Product Usage Instructions

To use the pressure washer, follow these steps:

  1. Verify your specific engine model by referencing the ID Tag
    located on your engine. See your local Briggs & Stratton
    distributor for parts and service.
  2. Assemble the Main Unit (80022379) by following the instructions
    provided in the user manual.
  3. Assemble the Pump (80022459) by following the instructions
    provided in the user manual.
  4. Ensure that all parts are securely tightened using the standard
    torque specifications mentioned in the Torque Specification
    Chart.
  5. Connect a garden hose to the water inlet fitting of the
    pump.
  6. Connect the high-pressure hose to the outlet fitting of the
    pump.
  7. Connect the spray gun to the other end of the high-pressure
    hose.
  8. Turn on the water supply and check for any leaks or abnormal
    sounds.
  9. Start the engine according to the instructions provided by
    Briggs & Stratton.
  10. Adjust the pressure setting on the pressure washer as per your
    requirement.
  11. Squeeze the trigger on the spray gun to start the flow of
    water.
  12. Direct the spray towards the surface you want to clean,
    maintaining a safe distance.
  13. Release the trigger to stop the flow of water.
  14. After use, turn off the engine and disconnect the spray gun,
    high-pressure hose, and garden hose.
  15. Store the pressure washer in a clean and dry place.

NOTES 1. These torque values are to be used for all hardware
excluding: locknuts, self-tapping screws, thread forming screws, sheet metal screws and socket head setscrews.
2. Recommended seating torque values for locknuts: a. for prevailing torque locknuts – use 65% of grade 5 torques. b. for flange whizlock nuts and screws – use 135% of grade 5 torques.
3. Unless otherwise noted on assembly drawings, all torque values must meet this specification.

The final number is the body length of the bolt or screw, 2 inches (50mm).
