Product Usage Instructions
Skin Contact: If the filament comes into
contact with the skin, wash the affected area instantly with plenty
of soap and water thoroughly.
Eye Contact: In case of eye contact, flush the
eyes with flowing water and then consult a doctor.
Inhalation: If inhalation occurs, move the
affected person to an area with fresh air. If necessary, provide
artificial respiration and keep the patient warm. Consult a doctor
if symptoms persist.
Swallowing: If the filament is swallowed, seek
immediate medical advice.
Fire-fighting Measures: In case of a fire, use
CO2, extinguishing powder, or water jet as suitable extinguishing
agents. For larger fires, use a water jet or alcohol-resistant
foam. Carbon monoxide and carbon dioxide may be released in case of
fire. Wear self-contained breathing apparatus and a full protective
suit.
Accidental Release Measures: If the material is
released or spilled, vacuum or sweep up the spilled filament and
place it in a standard disposal container. Avoid the use of air
jets.
Handling and Storage: Keep the filament
containers tightly sealed and store them in a cool, dry place in
tightly closed containers. Ensure good ventilation/exhaustion at
the workplace and stay away from oxidizing agents. Keep ignition
sources away and avoid smoking. No special requirements for
storeroom and container.
Exposure Control Measures/Personal Protection:
Fiber dust should be considered a nuisance dust. Use local exhaust
to reduce exposure to fiber dust. For operations where inhalation
exposure can occur, use a NIOSH approved dust mask/respirator. For
operations where eye contact can occur, use eye protection such as
goggles or safety glasses.
