- Turn off machine and remove from docking station
- Remove dirty water tank by pressing down on the recessed button on top of the tank
- Grasp top of the tank from the sides and pull up to remove
- Remove the filter by grasping sides and pulling up
- Hand wash filter, screen & float with warm water, remove debris
- Manually move the float up and down, float should move freely
- Remove strainer from tank, discard debris & rinse
- Rinse the entire tank
- The filter should be completely dry before reassembling
- Once dry, insert filter making sure the edges are smooth and not folded over
- Place the top piece including the screen, filter, and float back into the dirty water tank
- Angle the tank back into the body of the machine with the bottom edge first – push the tank in until it clicks into place
- The tank should not be loose and there should be no gaps
