Product Usage Instructions

  1. Select a suitable location for installation. Ensure that the
sensor is exposed to the open sky without any obstructions.
  2. Securely mount the Radar Rainfall Sensor using the provided
    installation accessories.
  3. Connect the power supply within the voltage range of 7-24 VDC
    to the sensor.
  4. If required, connect the output of the sensor to the desired
system using either the RS485 or SDI-12 interface.
  5. Once the sensor is powered on and properly connected, it will
start measuring rainfall continuously with a sample interval of 1
    second.
  6. The measured rainfall sensitivity can be adjusted using the
intensity scale parameter selection table provided in the user
    manual.
  7. To interpret the measurements accurately, refer to the
resolution of 0.1mm for rainfall values.
  8. Regularly check and clean the sensor to ensure optimal
    performance and accuracy.

Radar Rainfall Sensor

The A70H-RF Radar Rainfall Sensor is a sensor that uses radar wave technology to detect rainfall. It can distinguish the types and intensity of rain, snow and hail. Compared to that of a traditional mechanical rain gauge, the detection is more senstive and fast, and there is no need to worry about the influence of the cover of leaves and other objects on the surface of the dectoector for rainfall detection, and no need for heating device to prevent icing. There are no moving parts inside of the product, which is maintenance free, small in size and low
in energy consumption.
