Safety Notes

Please note the following safety notes to avoid malfunctions, damage or physical injury:

• This manual belongs to the product. It contains important notes on operating the unit. Please pass it on along with the unit if it is handed over to a third party!
• Improper use may result in personal injury and property damage. Persons unfamiliar with the manual should not operate the LED floodlight.
• Dispose of the packaging materials carefully; the plastic bags may become a deadly toy for children.
• Keep the unit out of the reach of children. It is not a toy.
• Do not immerse any components of the LED floodlight in liquids of any kind.
• The operation of the LED work light in road traffic is not permitted.
• Only qualified personnel are allowed to work on electrical systems in vehicles. For installing the LED work light observe the regulations and safety instructions.
• If you have to drill holes into the vehicle structure for mounting the LED work light, make sure not to damage the surface of the vehicle (e.g. corrosion). Make sure not to damage cables or supporting parts.
• Do not lead the power cord around sharp corners or over hot surfaces. Use cable glands if necessary.
• Tighten all screws after adjustment and frequently inspect the unit to make sure that it is securely attached.
• Do not expose the LED work light to oil, grease, dust/dirt, extreme temperatures, strong vibrations and mechanical stress.
• Do not continue to use the unit if the unit is damaged. Repair work must be done by a qualified service technician.
• To avoid danger of fire and personal injuries, operate the work light only with the protective cover in place and replace a broken cover immediately.
• The LED cannot be replaced.
• Do not disassemble the unit or attempt to modify or repair it yourself. It does not contain parts serviceable by you. In case of questions or problems, turn to our customer service.
• Do not direct the light beam towards people or animals.
• Do not use devices which can strongly focus light for viewing the light beam.

Mounting and Connection

Attention: Only qualified personnel are allowed to work on electrical systems in vehicles. For installing the LED work light observe the regulations and safety instructions.

For mounting the LED work light on the vehicle, use the included mounting material (3) and the bracket (2) or other bolts or screws that are suitable for the ground.

In road transport always switch off the LED work light!

1. Connect the black cable with the minus pole of the battery or with a non-painted surface of the chassis.
2. Finally connect the red cable to the plus pole of the battery.

Hints:

• Operate the LED work light with an ON/OFF switch (e. g. a toggle switch) in order to switch on the light only when it is needed. When using a switch, make sure the switch is equipped with a current load rating of at least 12 A .
• Do not operate the work light unnecessarily as this will shorten the life span of the LED.

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Clean the LED work light frequently to maintain full brightness.
• Do not clean the unit with aggressive detergents but rather use a dry or lightly moistened cloth to clean the unit.
