SIEMENS MOM2-XMP MOM-2 Mounting Plate
INTRODUCTION
The Model MOM2-XMP Mounting Plate from Siemens Industry, Inc., is used in CAB1, CAB2, CAB3 enclosures for mounting MOM-2 modules. A MOM2-XMP mounts in one position on a CAB-MP system mounting plate.
NOTE: CAB-1 Enclosure is for indoor use only in dry environments.
INSTALLATION
WARNING: Remove all system power before installation, first battery then AC. (To power up, connect the AC first, then the battery.)
Refer to Figure 1. There is a top and bottom to the MOM2-XMP Mounting Plate. The top end is the end with the longer (17/8”) cutout.
- With the top end of the MOM2-XMP facing up, place the MOM-2 on the plate with the terminal blocks (TB4/TB2) of the MOM-2 on the right side.
- Secure in place with two of the 10-32 screws supplied in the upper and lower threaded holes of the plate.
- The MOM2-XMP can be installed in any one of the four mounting positions on the CAB-MP, however, consideration should be given to wiring requirements. If the terminal blocks of the MOM-2 will be utilized, it is best to place the MOM2-XMP in position 4 of the CAB-MP (See Figure 2).
- Secure the MOM2-XMP to the CAB-MP with two of the 10-32 screws in the top threaded posts and two of the 10-32 screws in the bottom threaded posts of the CAB-MP.
COMPATIBILITY: The MOM2-XMP can be used in CAB1, CAB2, and CAB3 enclosures.
