Product Information:
The extender is a device that allows for the transmission of
audio signals from a TV back to a receiver via HDMI or audio
cables. It supports ARC (Audio Return Channel) functionality, which
enables the TV audio to be routed back to the receiver. The
extender has various input and output connections to accommodate
different setups.
System Connection:
The following diagram explains the three possible connection
scenarios:
- ARC Mode ON, TV supports ARC:
- Connect the HDMI cable from the TV to the transmitter.
- Ensure the ARC mode on the receiver is turned ON.
- The TV audio will be transmitted to the receiver via the HDMI
cable. - Output the audio from the transmitter’s ARC Audio Out
port.
- ARC Mode ON, TV doesn’t support ARC:
- Connect an audio cable from the TV to the receiver’s ARC Audio
In port. - Ensure the ARC mode on the receiver is turned ON.
- The TV audio will be transmitted to the receiver via the audio
cable. - Output the audio from the transmitter’s ARC Audio Out
port.
- Connect an audio cable from the TV to the receiver’s ARC Audio
- ARC Mode OFF:
- The TV audio cannot be transmitted back to the transmitter’s
ARC Audio Out port. - Connect the Audio Breakout port of the receiver to a speaker or
an amplifier for HDMI source audio de-embedding.
- The TV audio cannot be transmitted back to the transmitter’s

System Connection
The following diagram illustrates the typical input and output connections of the extender: 1) The ARC mode of receiver is ON, and the display device (e.g. HDTV) supportsARC. The TVaudio is transmitted from the TV back to the receiver via HDMIcable, and then it will be output by the ARC Audio Out port of transmitter.
2) The ARC mode of receiver is ON, but the display device (e.g. HDTV) doesn’t support ARC. TheTV audio is transmitted from the TV back to the ARC Audio In port of receiver via the audio cable, and then it will be output by the ARC Audio Out port of transmitter.
3) The ARC mode of receiver is OFF. The TV audio can’t be back to the ARC AudioOut port of transmitter. The Audio Breakout port of receiver is connected to a speaker or an amplifier for HDMI source audio de-embedding.
