- Only use this wall plate with the Wyze Video Doorbell Pro.
Pre-Installation
- Turn off the power of your existing video doorbell at the electrical panel.
Note: Always consult a professional electrician before working with electrical wires.
- Remove your existing video doorbell (if any) from the wall.
Installation
- Place the doorbell backplate on top of the wall plate and screw them both onto the wall (drill size is 1/8 in).
- If you have a wired doorbell, connect the wires first before securing it to the wall plate.
- Turn on the doorbell. Hook the tabs at the back and press firmly on wall plate until it clicks into place.
- Check the view from the App, then secure the doorbell with a screw at the bottom.
Installation with Angle Mount
- Screw the wall plate and angle mount together onto the wall (drill size is 1/8 in).
- Screw the doorbell’s backplate onto the angle mount using the original screws that come with the doorbell.
- If you have a wired doorbell, connect the wires first before securing it to the wall plate.
- Turn on the doorbell. Hook the tabs at the back and press firmly until it clicks into place.
- Check the view from the App, then secure the doorbell with a screw at the bottom.
