Product Information:
The Pertica 12 Disc Pendant (Item # KW 5525) is a light fixture
that requires proper installation in accordance with applicable
local installation codes. It should be installed by a person
familiar with its construction, operation, and associated hazards.
The product comes with a mounting plate (B), canopy (H), collar
ring (I), driver (C), LED bulb (O), shade (N), and protective cap
(P). The fixture is designed for use with electrical wires and
requires wire nuts for secure connections.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
clean, soft surface. - Remove the mounting plate (B) from the canopy (H) by taking off
the collar ring (I). - Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using the
provided mounting screws (D). - Feed the electrical wires through the bottom rod (L) and thread
them to the junction box. - Strip the ends of the electrical wires as necessary.
- Connect the ground wire from the supply to the green screw on
the mounting plate (B). - Connect the fixture ground wire to the ground wire from the
supply using a wire nut (A). - Connect the fixture hot wire (red) to the driver (C) output
wire (red) using a wire nut (A). Take care not to reverse the hot
and neutral connections. - Connect the driver (C) input neutral wire (white) to the supply
neutral wire (usually white) using a wire nut (A). - Connect the driver (C) input hot wire (black) to the supply hot
wire (usually black) using a wire nut (A). Take care not to reverse
the hot and neutral connections. - Ensure that all wire connections are tight and carefully tuck
them into the junction box. - Insert the driver (C) into the center of the mounting plate
(B). - Install the canopy (H) to the mounting plate (B) and secure it
with the collar ring (I). - Remove the protective cap (P) from the fixture (M).
- Thread the LED bulb (O) onto the fixture (M).
- Thread the shade (N) onto the fixture (M). Avoid
over-tightening to prevent damage to the shade.
Note: It is important to follow all local
installation codes and guidelines for safe and proper installation.
If any damage or defect is found in the product, do not proceed
with the installation. Retain all packaging material until
installation is complete and approved.
Care Instructions:
To clean the Pertica 12 Disc Pendant, use only a soft dry cloth
or a feather duster. Avoid using abrasive or chemical agents that
may damage the fixture.
Unpacking Notice:
To avoid possible damages caused by improper removal, follow the
instructions below:
- Open the box and remove the top layer of packaging.
- Lift the shade evenly in areas indicated by arrows in the
diagram until it is clear of packaging. Place it on a clean, soft
surface. Take care to remove it slowly to avoid damages.

Wire Cutters
1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Remove mounting plate (B) from canopy (H) by removing collar ring (I). 3. Install mounting plate (B) to the junction box and secure with
mounting screws (D). 4. Feed electrical wires through bottom rod (L) and thread to
fixture (M). Repeat for middle rod (K), connecting to bottom rod (L). 5. Continue feeding wires through collar ring (I), canopy (H) and top rod (J). 6. Holding fixture upright, slide collar ring (I), canopy (H) down rods and rest on fixture (M). Then connect top rod (J) to middle rod (K). NOTE: Slide components down slowly to avoid damages. 7. Hang fixture swivel ball (G) to center of mounting plate (B) and secure with set screw (F) using provided screwdriver (E). See diagram 1. 8. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. Separate wires, and strip insulation on each 5/8″. 9. Wrap supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 2). Tighten. NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded. 10. Connect fixture neutral wire (black) to driver (C) output wire (black) using wire nut (A).

11. Connect fixture hot wire (red) to driver (C) output wire (red) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.

13. Connect driver (C) input hot wire (black) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
14. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
15. Insert driver (C) into center of mounting plate (B). 16. Install canopy (H) to mounting plate (B) and secure with collar ring (I). 17. Remove protective cap (P) from fixture (M), then thread LED bulb (O)
to fixture (M). 18. Thread shade (N) to fixture (M).
NOTE: Do not over-tighten otherwise shade could become damaged.
