SK 5354 Elliot Extra Large Pendant
Product Information
The Elliot Extra Large Pendant is a light fixture designed for
installation in accordance with local installation codes. It should
be installed by a person familiar with its construction and
operation, as well as the associated hazards. The light fixture
comes with all necessary parts and requires the use of tools such
as a Phillips screwdriver, slotted screwdriver, slip joint pliers,
measuring tape, wire strippers, chain pliers, and wire cutters. The
pendant does not come with a bulb included.

Product Usage Instructions
- Carefully remove all parts from the box and place them on a
clean, soft surface. - Unscrew the quick link (G) to remove the collar loop (D) from
the chain (H). - Install the mounting plate (B) to the junction box using the
provided mounting screws (C). - Secure the collar loop (D) to the mounting plate (B) using
pliers to tighten the locknut. - Attach the canopy (E) to the collar loop (D) and secure it with
the collar ring (F). - Determine the desired overall length of the pendant and the
amount of chain (H) needed. Shorten the chain using chain pliers.
Keep the extra chain. - Attach the chain (H) to the collar loop (D) and the fixture
loop (I) using quick links (G). Secure the quick links (G). - Thread the fixture wire and ground wire through the chain (H).
When reaching the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on
the wires. Cut any excess wires, leaving enough to reach the
junction box. - Separate the two sides of the molded wire and strip insulation
on each side by 5/8 inch. - Loosen the collar ring (F) and carefully let the canopy (E)
slip down the chain (H). - Twist all fixture wires together and slip them through the
center hole of the collar loop (D). Untwist the wires and separate
them for connection. - Wrap the fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green
grounding screw and tighten it. Connect the fixture ground wire to
the supply ground wire using a wire nut (A). - Connect the fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral
wire (usually white) using a wire nut (A). - Connect the fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the
supply hot wire (usually black) using a wire nut (A). Ensure not to
reverse the hot and neutral connections. - Ensure all wire connections are tight and carefully tuck them
into the junction box. - Install the canopy (E) to the collar loop (D) and secure it
with the collar ring (F). It is recommended to have a helper assist
in supporting the fixture for this step. - Remove the washer (L) and socket ring (M) from the socket (J).
Install the shade (K) onto the socket (J) and secure it with the
washer (L) and socket ring (M). Tighten the set screw (N) using the
provided wrench (O).

PERSONS REQUIRED: Two
1. Carefully remove all parts from the box. Place on a clean, soft surface. 2. Remove collar loop (D) from chain (H) by unscrewing quick link (G). 3. Install mounting plate (B) to junction box and secure with mounting
screws (C). 4. Secure collar loop (D) to mounting plate (B) using pliers to tighten
locknut. 5. Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (F). 6. Determine desired overall length, and amount of chain (H) needed.
Shorten chain using chain pliers. (Keep extra chain) 7. Attach chain (H) to collar loop (D) and fixture loop (I) using quick
links (G). Secure quick links (G). 8. Thread fixture wire and ground wire through chain (H).
NOTE: When you reach the collar loop (D), ensure there is no tension on the wires. Cut excess wires, being sure to leave enough to reach the junction box. 9. Separate two sides of molded wire, and strip insulation on each 5/8″. 10. Loosen collar ring (F) and let canopy (E) slip down chain (H) carefully. 11. Twist all fixture wires together. Slip through center hole of collar loop (D). NOTE: Untwist wires and separate to prepare for connection.

12. Wrap fixture ground wire (bare copper) around the green grounding screw (see diagram 1). Tighten. Continue fixture ground wire and connect to supply ground wire (usually green or bare copper) using wire nut (A). NOTE: It is imperative that the fixture is grounded.
13. Connect fixture neutral wire (ribbed) to the supply neutral wire (usually white) using wire nut (A).
14. Connect fixture hot wire (smooth with markings) to the supply hot wire (usually black) using wire nut (A). CAUTION: Do not reverse the hot and neutral connections.
15. Make sure all wire connections are tight, then carefully tuck into the junction box.
16. Install canopy (E) to collar loop (D) and secure with collar ring (F). NOTE: It is recommended to have a helper assist in supporting the fixture for steps 17.
17. Remove washer (L) and socket ring (M) from socket (J), then install shade (K) to the socket (J) and secure with washer (L) and socket ring (M). Tighten set screw (N) using provided wrench (O).
18. Insert light bulb into the socket.
Care Instructions: Clean only with a soft dry cloth or feather duster. Do not use abrasive or chemical agents..
