Product Usage Instructions
1. Powering the Drummin’ Billy:
- Drummin’ Billy requires 3 AA batteries (not included) for
operation. - Use alkaline batteries only, such as Duracell or Energizer
brand. Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of
batteries. - Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or
types together. - Locate the battery compartment on the bottom of Drummin’
Billy. - Open the Velcro flap and use a Phillips head screwdriver to
open and remove the battery cover. - Install 3 AA batteries, ensuring proper battery polarity.
- Set the On/Off switch to On.
- Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the
screw.
2. Connecting an External Capability
Switch:
- Connect Drummin’ Billy to an external capability switch (not
included) via the jack located at the end of his cord. - Drummin’ Billy is equipped with a 1/8 jack for use with
external capability switches with a 1/8 plug. - Ensure that you have pushed the switch plug all the way in.
There should be no gaps.
3. Operating Drummin’ Billy:
- To activate Drummin’ Billy, actuate your external capability
switch or squeeze Drummin’ Billy’s foot with the musical note
symbol. - Billy will play the drums and sing either “Ants Go Marching One
by One” or “Five Little Bears Jumping on the Bed”. - Press his foot or your external capability switch again to stop
the music and drumming. - Each activation changes the tune he sings.
- While singing, Billy’s mouth moves, and his arms go up and down
in time to the music.
Troubleshooting:
Problem: Drummin’ Billy does not function
correctly.
- Action #1: Replace the batteries, paying close
attention to proper battery polarity. - Action #2: Make sure that the connection between the
external capability switch is pushed in all the way. There should
be no gaps. - Action #3: Try your switch with another switch
operated toy/device to rule out your switch as the source of the
problem.
Care of Unit:
- If you will not be using Drummin’ Billy for an extended amount
of time, it is recommended to remove the batteries. - Do not submerge the unit in water, as it will damage the
electrical components. Drummin’ Billy is surface washable
only.

Billy plays the drums and sings “Ants Go Marching One by One” and “Five Little Bears Jumping on the Bed.” Press his foot or your external capability switch and he sings and drums for 30 seconds or until you press his switch again. Each activation changes the tune he sings. His mouth moves as he sings and his arms go up and down in time to the music. Billy’s great for the budding drummer or music lover in your life. Operation:
1. Drummin’ Billy requires 3 AA batteries (Not included) to operate. Use alkaline batteries only (e.g. Duracell or Energizer brand). Do not use rechargeable batteries or any other type of batteries because they supply lower voltage and the unit will not perform properly. Never mix old and new batteries together or different brands or types together.
2. The battery compartment is located on the bottom of Drummin’ Billy. Open the Velcro flap, then using a Phillips head screwdriver open and remove the batter cover. Next install 3 AA batteries paying close attention to proper battery polarity.
3. Set the On/Off switch to On. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure it with the screw.
4. Connect Drummin’ Billy to any external capability switch (not included) via the jack located at the end of his cord. Drummin’ Billy is equipped with a 1/8″ jack for use with external capability switches with a 1/8″ plug. Make sure you have pushed the switch plug all the way in. There should be no gaps.
5. Actuate your external capability switch or squeeze Drummin’ Billy’s foot with the musical note symbol. Billy plays the drums and sings “Ants Go Marching One by One” and “Five
Little Bears Jumping on the Bed.” Press his foot or your external capability switch and he sings and drums for 30 seconds or until you press his switch again.
6. Each activation changes the tune he sings. His mouth moves as he sings and his arms go up and down in time to the music.
Troubleshooting: Problem: Drummin’ Billy does not function correctly.
Action #1: Replace the batteries paying close attention to proper battery polarity.
Action #2: Make sure that the connection between the external capability switch is pushed in all the way. There should be NO gaps.
Action #3: Try your switch with another switch operated toy/device in an effort to rule out your switch as the source of the problems. Care of Unit: If you will not be using Drummin’ Billy for an extended amount of time, we recommend removing the batteries.
Do not submerge the unit in water, as it will damage the electrical components. Drummin’ Billy is surface washable only.
