NL2FXX-W Loudspeaker Cable Connector
Product Information
The product is a speakON Cable Connector with model numbers
NL2FXX-W-* and NL4FXX-W-*. It is designed for factory assembly only
and has approval ratings based on EN/IEC and UL/CSA standards. The
product is rated at 250V AC and 30A. It supports wire sizes ranging
from 1.0mm2 to 4.0mm2 for NL2FXX-W-* model and 16-11 AWG for
NL4FXX-W-* model. The cable outer diameter supported is 6.0 – 12.0
mm (0.24 – 0.47 inches) for NL2FXX-W-* and 10.0 – 16.0 mm (0.39 –
0.63 inches) for NL4FXX-W-*.
Assembly Instructions
To assemble the speakON Cable Connector, follow the steps
below:
- Place the bushing (1) and chuck (2) over the cable.
- Prepare the cable as shown in the manual.
- Slide the cable into the contacts and clamp it.
- Position the chuck (1) on the insert (2).
- Slide the insert (2) with chuck (1) together into the housing
(3). - Slide the bushing (4) over the chuck (1).
- Use a torque wrench with a 27 mm (1 1/8 inch) hex bit and
tighten it with 2.5 Nm (22 inch pound / 1.8 lb-ft).
Disassembly Instructions
To disassemble the speakON Cable Connector, use the Neutrik tool
HTLACB. Position the tool on the surfaces and open the clamping
sleeve.
Safety Information
Ensure that the connection is not exposed to bending forces and
do not attach loads to the cable or have free-dangling cable
windings. The connector must be replaced in case of any broken
parts or excessive wear and tear.

Hold the connector with the NEUTRIK tool (5) and tighten bushing with the NEUTRIK tool (6) as shown.
For an exact mounting position use a torque wrench with 27 mm (1 1/8 inch) hex bit (7) and tighten it with 2.5 Nm (22 inch pound / 1.8 lb-ft).
