NL2FRX speakON SPX Series Lockable Loudspeaker Connector

Product Information

The NL2FX/NL2FRX is a speakON connector used for audio
applications. It has an electrical rating of USR: 40A/250V and CNR:
25A/250V according to UL and CSA standards. The connector is not
designed for interrupting current and should not be used as an AC
mains or power supply connector. The connector can accommodate
cables with an outer diameter of 6.0 – 10.0 mm and wire sizes of
1.5 – 4 mm2 (AWG 12). The stripping length of the cable should be
25 mm and 12 mm.

Product Usage Instructions

Assembly of the Connector:

1. Place the bushing and chuck over the cable.
2. Prepare the cable by stripping it to a length of 25 mm and 12
   mm.
3. Push the chuck up to the housing, aligning the chuck by
   positioning the nose into the recess.
4. Finish the installation by turning the bushing onto the
   connector.

Assembly of the Conversion Kit LRX:

1. Open the bushing and slide it and the chuck back.
2. Bend the cable as shown.
3. Position the two conversion shells to fit on the connector
   thread.
4. Press them together and fix with a screw.
5. Slide the chuck onto the housing and fasten the bushing,
   aligning the chuck by positioning the nose into the recess.

Note: Do not use a Philips screw driver (BDA 348) for
installation.

Assembly of the Connector:
A Place bushing and chuck over cable. B Prepare cable as shown.
Important is the stripping length of 25 mm and 12 mm.
C Insert wires into terminals and secure clamp terminals with screw driver (POZIDRIV® # 1) at max. torque 0.8 Nm. For 6 mm2 (AWG 10) remove screws, clamping sheet and solder.
D Push chuck up to housing . Important: Align the chuck by positioning the nose into the recess.
E Finish installation by turning the bushing onto the connector.
