Welcome to OASE Living Water. You made a great choice with the purchase of this product LunAqua 3 Halogen / LED.
Prior to operating the unit, please read the instructions of use carefully and fully familiarize yourself with the unit. Ensure that all work on and with this unit is only carried out in accordance with these instructions. Please strictly follow the enclosed instructions to ensure the safe and correct handling of the product. Keep these instructions in a safe place. Please also hand over the instructions when passing the unit on to a new owner.

Intended use
unique 3 Halogen / LED, referred to in the following as “unit”, may only be used as specified in the following:
- For use in water fountain systems and ponds.
- For use above and underwater.
- Operation under observance of the technical data.
The following restrictions apply to the unit: - Do not use it in swimming pools.
- Inspect the cord for damage before installation and/or maintenance.
Use other than that intended
This unit can be dangerous and cause harm if not used in accordance with these instructions. Any use not in accordance with these instructions or modification(s) to the unit will void the limited warranty.

Installation
WARNING
Risk of electric shock. To reduce the risk of electric shock, be certain that it is connected only to a properly grounded, grounding-type receptacle.
Attention! Do not exceed the voltage shown on the transformer.
To reduce the risk of fire or injury, keep the lamp away from materials that may burn.
Important:
- Do not lift the light or the transformer by its power cord.
- Keep the cord away from high temperatures or other heat sources.
- Use a proper power source as indicated on the transformer label.
- Install the transformer at least 6.6 ft (2 m) from the edge
of the pond.
○ Position the unit in such a way that it does not present a hazard to anyone.
○ Ensure safe and stable seating. Ensure the sufficient load-carrying capacity of the wall or ground for installation on the wall or on the base.
Wall or ground installation
Important:
- For installation above water: Ensure a safety distance of at least 1.7 ft (50 cm) from combustible material. Fire hazard: Do not cover the unit!
- The base foot can either be placed on the ground or bolted to a firm base or load-bearing wall
Tilting the unit
- Turn the holding screw counterclockwise and tilt the unit as required. To fasten in place turn the holding screw clockwise.
Connect the unit
Attention! Operate the unit at all times with the safety transformer UST 150 from OASE or a different power supply unit meeting the safety requirements.
Attention! Sensitive electrical components.
Possible consequences: The unit will be destroyed.
Protective measures: Do not connect the unit to a dimmable power supply.
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or serious injuries.
Protective measures:
- Before reaching into the water, disconnect all units located in the water from the mains.
- Disconnect the unit from the mains before performing any work on the unit.
- Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Important:
- The unit switches on automatically when a power connection is established.
- Switching on: Connect the power plug to the socket.
- Switching off: Disconnect the power plug.
Maintenance and cleaning
Attention! Dangerous electrical voltage.
Possible consequences: Death or serious injuries.
Protective measures:
- Before reaching into the water, disconnect all units located in the water from the mains.
- Disconnect the unit from the mains before performing any work on the unit.
- Secure the unit to prevent unintentional switching on.
Note:
- Ensure that no moisture can enter the unit.
Cleaning the unit
- If necessary, clean the unit with clear water using a soft brush.
Replacing the bulb
- Only use original bulbs from OASE. The unit may be damaged by the use of spare parts from other manufacturers

- Unscrew the threaded ring.
- Remove the glass pane and O ring, check for damage and replace if necessary
- Remove the defective bulb from the housing.
- Insert the new bulb.
- Reassemble the unit in reverse order.
○ Ensure that the O ring is correctly positioned. - Reconnect to the power supply and check the function.
Storage/Winterization
- Put the unit out of operation at water temperatures below 46 °F (8 °C) or, at the latest, when freezing temperatures are to be expected.
- Thoroughly clean the unit, check for damage.
- Ensure that the storage place is inaccessible to children.
Disposal
Do not dispose of this unit with domestic waste! Disable the unit beforehand by cutting off the cables. Further information about the recycling of this product can be obtained from your local municipal authority.
