CL40 Installer Friendly Series Site Single Phase Simplex
Product Information
The Single Phase Duplex is a pump control system that can be
used for demand dose or timed dose applications. It is equipped
with a Float or C-LevelTM sensor for pump control, system
monitoring, event logging, and reporting.
The panel features the C-LevelTM sensor, which allows for
continuous level monitoring in the tank. The sensor detects the
level and sends a signal to the panel. Pump activation levels can
be adjusted using the panel touch pad. The operating range for the
C-LevelTM CL40 sensor is 3-39.9 inches (7.6-101.3 cm), while the
CL100 sensor has an operating range of 3-99.5 inches (7.6-252.7
cm).
The touch pad on the panel offers various features:
- A. Level Status indicators illuminate when floats or set points
are activated. An alarm will activate if a float operates out of
sequence. - B. HOA (Hand-Off-Automatic) buttons with indication control
pump mode. Hand mode defaults to Automatic when stop level or
redundant off level is reached. - C. Pump Run indicators will illuminate when pumps are called to
run. - D. LED display provides system information including level in
inches or centimeters (C-LevelTM only), mode, pump elapsed time,
events (cycles), alarm counter, float error count, timed dose
override counter (timed dose only), pump ON/OFF times (timed dose
only), and sequence ON/OFF times (timed dose only). - E. NEXT push button toggles display.
- F. UP and SET Push Buttons are used to set pump ON/OFF times
(timed dose only), pump operation (alternate 1-2 and 2-1), date and
hour, and activation levels (C-LevelTM only).
The panel components include an enclosure base measuring 16 x 14
x 6 inches (40.64 x 35.56 x 15.24 cm) made of NEMA 4X ultraviolet
stabilized thermoplastic. It is suitable for outdoor or indoor use
and features removable mounting feet. Other components include
circuit breakers (optional), power relays, float connection
terminal block, control power indicator/fuse indicator light, alarm
power indicator/fuse indicator light, ground lugs, RF filter, power
supply, control fuse, alarm fuse, USB port for flash drive, and a
manual report switch.
Note: The panel layout may vary with options selected. Options,
voltage, and amp range chosen may affect enclosure size and
component layout.
Note: The schematic/wiring diagram and pump specification label
can be found inside the panel.
Product Usage Instructions
- Install the Single Phase Duplex panel in a suitable location
near the pump and tank. - Connect the C-LevelTM sensor to the tank to enable continuous
level monitoring. Adjust the pump activation levels using the panel
touch pad. - If using timed dose mode, use the UP and SET Push Buttons on
the touch pad to set the desired pump ON/OFF times. - Ensure that the control power and alarm power are present in
the panel by checking the corresponding indicator lights. - If an alarm condition occurs, use the Exterior Alarm
Test/Normal/Silence switch to test the horn and light. The horn can
be silenced by switching to the Silence position. - If necessary, reset the alarm once the alarm condition is
cleared. - To download time-stamped system events, insert a flash drive
into the USB port. - Use the Manual Report switch to date and time stamp service
calls. - Refer to the schematic/wiring diagram and pump specification
label inside the panel for additional information and
guidance.

The IFS In-Site® duplex control panel utilizes an innovative circuit board design to control two alternating 120/208/240V single phase pumps in water and sewage applications. IFS panels feature an easy-to-use touch pad on inner door for programming and system monitoring. The alternating action equalizes pump wear. In addition, this system provides override control should either pump fail. Quick retrieval of all system events can be done by downloading panel information onto a USB flash drive. The panel configuration can be easily converted in the field to either a timed dose or demand dose. Available with the EZconnex® float system.
Monitor system events including pump run times, pump cycles, alarm conditions, power outages, service calls and more! Quick, convenient reports make diagnosing system conditions easy! Plug the flash drive into the USB port located on the inner door of the IFS In-Site® panel to download system events which occurred. No computer is needed at the site! Use the flash drive (included with panel) with any computer to download system information and reports. The pre-loaded software on the flash drive formulates system data for you, creating reports quickly in an easy-to-read format so system conditions can be easily identified and corrected. In addition to monitoring system events, the IFS In-Site® panel logs any service calls and changes made to system settings, which helps protect service providers.
The panel can utilize the C-LevelTM sensor for continuous level monitoring. It senses the level in the tank and sends a signal to the panel. Pump activation levels can be adjusted by using the panel touch pad. C-LevelTM CL40 sensor operating range is 3-39.9 inches (7.6-101.3 cm). C-LevelTM CL100 operating range is 3-99.5 inches (7.6-252.7 cm).
