CG-24 Flexible PVC Cable Guard Installation Guide
DESCRIPTION
The CG-24 Cable Guard is designed to accommodate heat cable from 8-13mm wide by 5-6.5mm thick (standard dimensions of most self-regulating heat cables in North America). Use the CG-24 to protect heat cable systems from common damage from abrasion, slicing, animals and abuse where the cable comes into contact with other sharp edges or human traffic. Common applications involve using the CG-24 to transition heat cable from gutters into downspouts, where cable exits downspouts and against valley flashing edges.

Instructions
Clean: Clean loose dirt and debris off cable.
Cut: If needed, use a tin snips to cut the CG-24 to the appropriate length for your application.
Pinch: Using your fingers, begin installing Cable Guard by pinching it onto the heat cable as shown (left). Start at one end and work your way to the other.
