1679-755 Buchanan 4-Light Hellenic Bronze Semi-Flush Mount

Product Information

This product is item#1679-755, with a manufacturing date of July
1, 2022. It is a fixture that requires installation and comes with
a mounting plate, ground screw, mounting screws, thread rod, canopy
assembly, support cable, hook, candle covers, and candelabra base
bulbs.

Product Usage Instructions

1. Before starting the installation, shut off power at the fuse
   box or circuit breaker box.
2. Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware.
3. Unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean
   area.
4. Thread the rod and canopy assembly onto the all thread on top
   of the fixture body.
5. Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using the
   provided mounting screws. Ensure that the side of the mounting
   plate with “GND” marked on it and two convex points faces out.
6. Use the support cable to align the fixture to the mounting
   plate. Attach the hook on the end of the support cable into a slot
   located on the mounting plate. Allow the support cable to support
   the weight of the fixture while wiring.
7. Connect the electrical wires according to the diagram shown in
   fig. 2. Make sure all wire connectors are secured. If your junction
   box has a ground wire, connect the fixture’s ground wire to it.
   Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the
   mounting plate using the provided green screw.
8. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.
9. Slide the canopy over the mounting plate and secure it with
   screws.
10. Slide the candle covers over the sockets.
11. Install four candelabra base bulbs up to 60 watts each or CFL
    or LED equivalent, following the fixture specifications. Do not
    exceed the maximum wattage rating.
12. Once the installation is complete, return power to the outlet
    box and test the fixture.

PREPARING FOR INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) 1. Shut off power at the fuse box or circuit breaker box
and remove the old fixture including the mounting hardware. 2. Carefully unpack your new fixture and lay out all the parts in a clean area. Take care not to misplace any

small parts necessary for installation.

ASSEMBLING THE FIXTURE (Fig.1) 3. Thread rod and canopy assembly (F) onto all thread
(G) on top of fixture body.

4. Attach mounting plate (A) to the junction box (not

included) with mounting screws (B) (Size:

K

#8-32N*L0.5″). The side of the mounting plate with

“GND” marked on it and two convex points must face

out.

5. The support cable is provided to support the weight of

the fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to mounting

plate (A) and attach hook (K) on the end of support

cable (C) into a slot located on mounting plate (A).

Carefully allow the support cable (C) to support the

weight of the fixture while wiring.

CONNECTING THE WIRES (Fig. 2)

6. Connect the electrical wires as shown in fig.2, making

sure that all wire connectors are secured. If your

junction box has a ground wire (green or bare copper),

connect the fixture’s ground wire to it. Otherwise,

mounting plate (A) using the green screw provided. 7. Tuck wire connectors neatly into the junction box.

COMPLETING THE INSTALLATION (Fig. 1) 8. Slide canopy (D) over th mounting plate (A) and secure

it with screws (E).

9. Slide candle covers (I) over sockets (J).

10. Install (4) four candelabra base bulbs (H) up to 60 watts
each or CFL or LED equivalent (not included) in accordance with the fixture specification. –DO NOT EXCEED THE MAXIMUM WATTAGE RATING! (NE PAS DEPASSER LA PUISSANCE NOMINALE MAXIMALE!)

Your installation is now complete. Return power to the outlet box and test the fixture.
