POINTER NEEDLE MAY SHIFT FROM ZERO (0) DURING SHIPPING AND TRANSPORT.
When the scale is on a flat, even surface, use the dial at the base of the scale to align the pointer directly in line with Zero on the dial. Your scale is now ready for use.
Simple Step Instructions and Cautions
Correct Posture and Use— Feet should be dry; do not wear shoes or socks during use. Take care to stand straight without excessive leaning forward or back; feet should be even on surface and not cover the dial.
Scale Placement— Scale should be on a solid, level surface.
Never use on carpet. Do not place on wet surfaces.
Calibration— Pointer needle may shift during movement or transport. When the scale is on a flat, even surface, use the dial at the base of the scale to align the pointer directly in line with Zero on the dial.
Maintenance— Wipe with a damp cloth; a surface disinfectant may be used. Do not disassemble.
Weight Capacity— 286 lbs/130 kg; users outside of weight capacity will not receive an accurate reading and may damage scale.
