Product Information
The tailpiece is a component of the SARGENT product that connects the lock to the latch bolt. It is a replaceable part that can be easily replaced with a new one supplied by SARGENT.
Product Usage Instructions
- Depress the cap pin located on the end cap of the tailpiece.
- Unscrew the end cap to remove the old tailpiece.
- Insert the new tailpiece supplied by SARGENT.
- Re-assemble the end cap over the new tailpiece.
Note: Use only tailpieces supplied by SARGENT to ensure proper fit and function of the product.
Tailpiece Instructions
- Depress the cap pin and unscrew the end cap to remove the tailpiece from the Schlage® cylinder.
- Insert new tailpiece (supplied by SARGENT).
- Re-assemble the end cap over the new tailpiece.
