GETTING STARTED
- Step 1 Download the Kami Home App. Register a Kami account and log in.
- Step 2 After logging into your Kami Home App, tap the”+” sign and select “Kami Mini Camera”
- Step 3 Ensure that your cell phone is on the 2.4GHz Wi-Fi network.
- Step 4 Press the Reset Button to power on the camera. When the Indicator Light starts blinking, you will hear “Waiting to connect”, and tap “I heard ‘Waiting to Connect” on your screen.
- Step 5 4Ghz Wi-Fi required Enter your network’s SSID and Wi-Fi password, and then use your Kami Mini camera to scan the QR code.
- Step 6 When the QR code has been successfully scanned, tap “Next Step”. You will hear the voice prompt “Pairing is successful” shortly. Your Kami Mini Camera is now ready to use.
POWER ON THE CAMERA
Place the camera close to the router, and make sure Wi-Fi access is available, then connect the cable to the Micro USB port on the back of the camera to power the outlet as shown.
SWITCH WI-FI NETWORKS
When you need to switch Wi-Fi networks or update your Wi-Fi password, follow the instructions below:
- Use a clip to press the reset button on the back of the camera, and wait until the yellow light comes on.
- Open the Kami Home App on your phone, and connect the camera to your phone again. Your videos stored on your micro SD card will not be affected.
