Warranty
THREE (3) YEAR WARRANTY
WHAT IS COVERED
The manufacturer warrants this fixture to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of three (3) years from the date of purchase. This warranty applies only to the original consumer purchaser and only to products used in normal use and service. If this product is found to be defective, the manufacturer’s only obligation and your exclusive remedy, is the repair or replacement of the product at the manufacturer’s discretion, provided that the product has not been damaged through misuse, abuse, accident, modifications, alteration, neglect, or mishandling. This warranty shall not apply to any product that is found to have been improperly installed, set-up, or used in any way not in accordance with the instructions supplied with the product. This warranty shall not apply to a failure of the product as a result of an accident, misuse, abuse, negligence, alteration, faulty installation, or any other failure not relating to faulty material or workmanship. This warranty shall not apply to the finish on any portion of the product, such as surface and/or weathering, as this is considered normal wear and tear

PLANNING INSTALLATION
Read all the instructions before installing. To avoid damaging this product, place it on a soft, non-abrasive surface, such as carpet or cardboard.

1 Installing the crossbar assembly
Secure the crossbar assembly (AA) to the outlet box (not included) with the outlet box screws (BB). Tighten until snug.
NOTE: The preassembled mounting nipple on the crossbar should protrude outward.

2 Test fitting the ceiling canopy to the crossbar assembly
Remove the pre-assembled canopy lock ring from the crossbar assembly (AA). Temporarily attach the ceiling canopy (EE) to the pre-assembled nipple on the crossbar assembly (AA). Secure with the canopy lock ring (1).
NOTE: If the ceiling canopy is not snug against the ceiling, remove it from the crossbar assembly and adjust the length of the pre-assembled nipple by unscrewing the pre-assembled hex nut. Screw the nipple in or out of the crossbar until the correct length is achieved. Then, re-attach the ceiling canopy.

3 Installing the fixture chain
Guide the fixture wire with bare copper ground wire through the fixture loop (A), and screw the fixture loop (A) onto the top of the fixture body (B) securely.
Choose desired hanging length for the light fixture. Suggested mounting height over a table or island is 30 inches from the table/island top to the bottom of the fixture.
Adjust the fixture chain (FF) to the desired length, removing links if necessary. Connect one end of the fixture chain (FF) to the canopy chain loop preassembled to
the crossbar assembly (AA) with one quick link (DD). Connect the other end of the fixture chain (FF) to the fixture loop (A) with the
remaining quick link (DD). Suggested chain length to hang fixture 30 inches above table top: 8-ft. ceiling: 10 in. of chain + 2 quick links 9-ft. ceiling: 22 in. of chain + 2 quick links 10-ft. ceiling: 34 in. of chain + 2 quick links 11-ft. ceiling: 46 in. of chain + 2 quick links 12-ft. ceiling: 58 in. of chain + 2 quick links
NOTE: You may need to use pliers (not included) to open the links of the fixture chain (FF). If so, put a cloth over the fixture chain (FF) to protect the finish from the pliers.
4 Pulling the supply wires
Pull the supply wires and ground wire up through the fixture chain alternating links.
Push the ends of the supply wires and ground wire up through the canopy chain loop and into the outlet box. The remaining slack wire will be inserted into the outlet box in STEP 6.
NOTE: To make the next step easier, cut the supply wire and ground wire 24 inches longer than the distance from the fixture loop to the ceiling. Important: Please pay attention to the polarity (wires labels L & N) when cutting wires. Wire identification will be needed in STEP 5.

5 Trimming excess fixture wire
Unthread the canopy lock ring. Slide the canopy lock ring and the ceiling canopy (EE) down
the quick link (DD). Push all slack fixture wire through the canopy chain loop and
into the outlet box. Trim excess fixture wire leaving a minimum of 6 inches
hanging out of the outlet box. Separate the smooth side and ribbed side of the supply wire to
about 3 inches from the end. Using wire strippers, strip each wire ½ inch from the end.

6 Making the electrical connections
* Use wire connectors (CC) to connect the wires. Ground wire:
1. Wrap the supply ground wire around the green ground screw on the crossbar assembly (AA), no less than 2 in. from the end of the wire. Tighten ground screw. 2. Connect the fixture ground wire to the supply ground wire with the wire connector (CC).
Supply wire: 1. Connect the house white wire to the fixture supply wire (ribbed sided) from fixture identified with the label “N”. 2. Connect the house black (or red) wire to the fixture supply wire (smooth side) from fixture identified with the label “L”. 3. Wrap each connection with approved electrical tape and carefully insert all of the connected wires into the outlet box.

7 Installing the ceiling canopy
Attach the ceiling canopy (EE) back over the canopy chain loop. Secure with the canopy lock ring.

8 Installing the light bulb
Install the correct bulb (not included) referring to fixture markings and/or labels for maximum wattage.

Care and Cleaning
Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives. Use only a dry, soft cloth to dust or wipe carefully. To clean the fixture, disconnect power by turning off the circuit breaker or by removing the fuse at the fuse box, and use a dry or
slightly dampened, clean cloth to wipe the exterior surface of the fixture.
Troubleshooting
Problem The light(s) will not turn on.
The fuse blows or the circuit breaker trips when the light is turned on.
Possible Cause
The bulb is burned out. The power is off. There is a faulty switch. There is a faulty wire connection. There are crossed wires or the power wire is grounding out.
Solution
Replace the light bulb.
Ensure the power supply is turned on.
Test or replace the switch.

1 Instalación del Ensamble de la barra transversal
Fije la enganche de la lámpara (AA) a la caja de salida (no incluida) con los tornillos para la caja de salida (BB). Apriete hasta que esté ajustado.
Nota: Los manguitos roscados de montaje preensamblados en la barra transversal deben sobresalir.

2 Prueba de instalación de la base del techo en el soporte de barras cruzadas
Retire el anillo de bloqueo de la cubierta preensamblado del ensamble de la barra transversal (AA). Fije temporalmente la cubierta para techo (EE) al manguito roscado preensamblado en el ensamble de la barra transversal (AA). Asegure con el anillo de bloqueo de la cubierta (1).
Nota: Si la cubierta para techo no está bien ceñida al techo, retírela del ensamble de la barra transversal y ajuste el largo del manguito roscado preensamblado al desenroscar la tuerca hexagonal preensamblada. Enrosque o desenrosque el manguito roscado de la barra transversal hasta lograr la longitud correcta. Luego, vuelva a fijar la cubierta para techo.

3 Instalación del cadena de la lámpara
Pase el cable de la lámpara y el cable desnudo de cobre a tierra a través de la argolla de la lámpara (A) y atornille la argolla de la lámpara (A) a la parte superior del cuerpo de la lámpara (B) con firmeza.
Escoja el largo deseado del soporte para la lámpara. La altura sugerida para colgar el producto sobre una mesa o isla es 76,2 cm desde la parte superior de la mesa o isla hasta la parte inferior de la lámpara.
Ajuste la cadena de la lámpara (FF) al largo deseado, retirando eslabones si es necesario. Conecte un extremo de la cadena de la lámpara (FF) al enganche de la cadena de la cubierta
preensamblada al ensamble de la barra transversal (AA) con una conexión rápida (DD). Conecte el otro extremo de la cadena de la lámpara (FF) al argolla de la lámpara (A) con la
conexión rápida (DD) restante. La longitud sugerida de la cadena para colgar la lámpara es de 76,2 cm por encima de la parte superior de la isla: a 2,44 m del techo: 25.4 cm de cadena + 2 eslabones de conexión rápida a 2,74 m del techo: 55.88 cm de cadena + 2 eslabones de conexión rápida a 3,04 m del techo: 86.36 cm de cadena + 2 eslabones de conexión rápida a 3,35 m del techo: 116.84 cm de cadena + 2 eslabones de conexión rápida a 3,65 m del techo: 147.32 cm de cadena + 2 eslabones de conexión rápida
Nota: Es posible que deba usar pinzas (no se incluyen) para abrir los eslabones de la cadena de la lámpara (FF). De ser así, envuelva la cadena de la lámpara (FF) con un paño para evitar que las pinzas dañen el acabado.
4 Pase los conductores del suministro y el conductor de tierra
Pase los conductores del suministro y el conductor de tierra hacia arriba a través la cadena de la lámpara, alternando los eslabones.
Presione los extremos de los conductores de suministro y el conductor de tierra por el enganche de la cadena de cubierta y hacia la caja de salida. Los conductores sueltos restantes serán empujados a la caja en el PASO 6.
Nota: Para hacer que el siguiente paso sea más fácil, corte el conductor de suministro y el conductor de tierra a 60.9 cm más que la distancia desde el enganche de la lámpara hasta el techo. Importante: Preste atención a la polaridad (las etiquetas de los cables L y N) cuando se corten los cables. Será necesaria la identificación del conductor en el PASO 5.

5 Corte el exceso de cable de la lámpara
Desenrosque el anillo de bloqueo de la cubierta. Deslice el anillo de bloqueo de la cubierta y la cubierta para
techo (EE) por el eslabón de conexión rápida (DD). Empuje todos los cables ojos de la lámpara a través del
enganche de la cadena de la cubierta hacia el interior de la caja de salida. Corte el exceso de cable de la lámpara, dejando un mínimo de 15,24 cm fuera de la caja de salida. Separe el lado liso y el lado estriado del conductor de suministro a alrededor de 7,62 cm del final. Con la pinza pelacables, pele cada cable a 1,27 cm del final.

6 Realización de las conexiones eléctricas
* Use los conectores ce cables (CC) para conectar los cables. Conductor de tierra: 1. Coloque el conductor de tierra alrededor del tornillo de puesta a tierra verde en el enganche de la lámpara (AA), a no menos de 5,08 cm del extremo del conductor. Apriete el tornillo de puesta a tierra. 2. Conecte el conductor de tierra de la lámpara al conductor de suministro usando el conector de cables (CC).
Conductor de suministro: 1. Conecte el conductor blanco de suministro al conductor del suministro de la lámpara (el lado estriado) de la lámpara identificado con la etiqueta “N”. 2. Conecte el conductor negro (o rojo) de la casa al conductor del suministro de la lámpara (lado liso) de la lámpara identificado con la etiqueta “L”. 3. Envuelva cada conexión con cinta aislante aprobada y coloque con cuidado todos los cables conectados dentro de la caja de salida.

Vuelva a fijar la cubierta del techo (EE) en el enganche de la cadena. Asegure con el anillo de bloqueo de la cubierta.

8 Instalación de la bombilla
Instale la bombilla (no incluidas) correcta consultando las marcas de la lámpara y/o las etiquetas para saber la potencia máxima en vatios.

Cuidado y limpieza
No use limpiadores que contengan agentes químicos, solventes o abrasivos fuertes. Use solo un paño suave y seco para desempolvar o limpiar cuidadosamente el producto.
Para limpiar la lámpara, desconecte la alimentación apagando el interruptor de circuito o retirando el fusible de la caja de fusibles y use un paño limpio seco o levemente húmedo para la superficie exterior de la lámpara.
Solución de problemas
Problema Las luce(s) no se ENCIENDEN
Cuando se enciende la luz, el fusible se quema o el interruptor de circuito se dispara.
Causa posible
Solución
La bombilla está quemada.
Reemplace las bombilla.
No hay alimentación.
Asegúrese de que el suministro de electricidad esté encendido.
El interruptor está defectuoso.
Pruebe o reemplace el interruptor.
La conexión de los cables no es la correcta. Revise el cableado.
