WRX-5G-RMD Axle Back Exhaust
Product Information:
The MAP WRX-5G-RMD is an exhaust upgrade kit specifically
designed for the WRX 5th generation model. It includes two MAP
Axlebacks, two MAP 3.5 Dual Tips, two Tip Clamps, four
M10x1.25x40mm Bolts, four M10x1.25 Flanged Nuts, and one
Anti-seize.
Product Usage Instructions:
- Place the vehicle on a lift.
- Using a 14mm socket, remove the 4 y-pipe bolts from both
mufflers. - Remove the 4 rubber hangers from both mufflers and remove the
mufflers. - Ensure that the gasket is still in place on the y pipe ends.
Place the MAPerformance muffler delete in place, securing it with
the factory hangers. - Secure the MAP muffler delete to the factory Y pipe using the
OEM bolts that were removed in step 4. - Install the included exhaust tips, securing them with the
included clamps. Make sure to use the included anti-seize on the
threads of the clamp and tighten the clamps using hand tools. - Start the vehicle and check for any leaks. Ensure that the tips
are straight.

Tools needed
You will need:
10mm socket 14mm socket 3/8ths ratchet
Step 1
1.
Place vehicle on lift
Step 2
2. Remove 4 y-pipe bolts from both mufflers (14mm socket)
Step 3
3. Remove 4 rubber hangers from both mufflers and remove mufflers
Step 4
4. Ensure gasket is still in place on the y pipe ends and place MAPerformance
muffler delete in place securing with factory hangers
Step 5
5. Secure MAP muffler delete to factory Y pipe with oem bolts you removed in step 4
Step 6
6. Install included exhaust tips, securing with included clamps
be sure to use included anti seize on the threads of the clamp and use hand tools to tighten clamps
Step 7
7. Start and check for leaks, ensure your tips are straight!
