United States Ground Water Temperature Map

Product Information: United States Ground Water Temperature
Map

The United States Ground Water Temperature Map is a tool
designed for residential use. It provides information about the
average ground water temperature in different regions of the United
States. The map allows users to correlate their location with the
legend to determine the average ground water temperature in their
area.

Please note that the indicated temperature zones are general and
may vary due to local variations and seasonal changes.

The product model for non-condensing use is RE180i/e, with a BTU
rating of 180,000.

Product Usage Instructions

  1. Locate your position on the United States Ground Water
    Temperature Map.
  2. Refer to the legend on the map to find the average ground water
    temperature in your area.
  3. Take note that actual inlet water temperature might be
    influenced by local variations and seasonal changes.
  4. For non-condensing model RE180i/e, consider the following flow
    rates for simultaneous shower use:
  • 3.5 GPM
  • 3.6 GPM
  • 3.8 GPM
  • 4.0 GPM
  • 4.3 GPM
  • 4.7 GPM
  • 5.1 GPM
  • 5.6 GPM
  • 6.2 GPM
  • 6.9 GPM

For Hawaii and Puerto Rico, use ground water temperature of 75° F
For Canada and Alaska, use ground water temperature range 35-42° F.
Average inlet water temperature. These are general temperature zones, actual inlet temperature may be affected by local variations and seasonal changes.

Note: Simultaneous shower use was rounded to the nearest whole number based on the following data: Tankless set temperature of 120°F, mixed shower temperature of 105°F, ground water temperature as shown in the chart, and shower head flow rate of 2 gpm.

· Customer has the option of using the following appliances instead of a shower: Residential grade clothes washing machine, hand sink or dishwasher.
· Shower heads will be as above. If custom shower fixtures i.e. body sprays, high flow rate rain heads are used, please contact Rinnai.
