EZCONNEX 4-Port Float Connection System
Product Information
The product is designed for easy installation of float switches
in wet well applications. It includes a single 8 conductor direct
burial cable with Red-Blue-Yellow-White wire pairs that match the
R-B-Y-W colored caps on the manifold housing for easy
identification and field wiring. The color-coded cable allows for
quick and easy installation. The product also features quick
release float switch connections and a mounting bracket for easy
maintenance and replacement of floats.
The manifold options include:
- 4-Port Manifold
The float switch options include:
- NORMALLY OPEN (HIGH LEVEL) float switches
- NORMALLY CLOSED (LOW LEVEL) float switches
The product is patented in the US (Patent No. 9,559,455 and
9,583,867), Canada (Patent No. 2,891,806), and China (Patent No.
105322354). The product is made of ABS plastic and has a shipping
weight ranging from 4.57 lbs. to 11.98 lbs.

Product Usage Instructions
1. Ensure that the manifold does not have any open port(s)
before installation.
2. Identify the Red-Blue-Yellow-White wire pairs on the 8
conductor direct burial cable.
3. Match the wire pairs with the corresponding R-B-Y-W colored
caps on the manifold housing for easy identification and field
wiring.
4. Use the quick release float switch connections to connect the
floats to the manifold.
5. Attach the mounting bracket for easy maintenance and
replacement of floats.
NOTE: If there are any unused ports, order a sealing plug for
each unused port and install it to prevent any issues.
6. Follow the instructions for NORMALLY OPEN (HIGH LEVEL) or
NORMALLY CLOSED (LOW LEVEL) operation:
- NORMALLY OPEN (HIGH LEVEL) OPERATION:
- Use the float switch with the blue colored cap.
- The control switch turns on (closes) when the switch tips above
horizontal, indicating a high level. - The control switch turns off (opens) when the switch drops
below horizontal.
- NORMALLY CLOSED (LOW LEVEL) OPERATION:
- Use the float switch with the red colored cap.
- The control switch turns on (closes) when the switch drops
below horizontal, indicating a low level. - The control switch turns off (opens) when the switch tips above
horizontal.
EZCONNEX® 4-PORT FLOAT CONNECTION SYSTEM
Designed for Easy Installation of Float Switches in Wet Well Applications
The EZconnex® float switch connection system is a revolutionary new way to install float switches in a wet well for level control applications. It includes an electrical wiring manifold with four quick release float switch connection ports, mounting bracket and hardware. Installation is as easy as 1, 2, 3…Simply install the manifold, plug in the quick connect floats, and wire the manifold cable to the control panel.
A single 8 conductor direct burial cable has Red-Blue-Yellow-White wire pairs that match the R-B-Y-W colored caps on the manifold housing for easy identification and field wiring. The color-coded cable makes for a quick, easy installation. The quick release float switch connections and mounting bracket allow for easy maintenance and replacement of floats.
The EZconnex® system can be used with 1, 2, 3 or 4 float switches. Each float switch includes a protective rubber boot that provides a dual seal design for an extra layer of protection to keep connections clean and dry. A range of wide-angle and narrow-angle float switch options are available with quick release connection to suit application needs (sold separately). Sealing plugs are available for unused manifold ports (sold separately).
NOTE: Do not install manifold with open port(s).
