My Proheat® Clearview®/pro-tech®/powersteamer® Pro Upright Carpet Cleaner Has No Power | Support

If you are experiencing No Power, follow these steps to resolve:

  • Unplug your carpet cleaner and check the power cord for any signs of damage
  • Unplug the cleaner and check the red lint screen on the clean water tank
    • Remove any built-up debris

  • If the machine is plugged into an extension cord, remove the cord and try the machine in a different outlet
  • Plug the cleaner into multiple working outlets to ensure there’s not an issue with the outlet or breaker
  • Check the amp limit on your circuit breaker
    • If you’re using a 12-amp machine on a 10-amp breaker, it could be causing it to over load and trip, especially if additional appliances are plugged in the same circuit
  • Has this resolved the issue?
