Inspection doors
An inspection door is installed to provide access to technical installations in the wall and ceiling.
Used in wooden, plasterboard, or concrete walls/ceilings.

Material
Powder-coated white or black galvanized steel.
White color RAL 9010. Black color RAL 9005.
Installation
- Remove the door by detaching the spring-loaded hinge. Pull the hinge out of the grooves in the top and base of the frame. See Figure 1.
- Cut out an opening in the wall/ceiling slightly larger than the dimensions of the frame indicated in Figure 2 (C). Alternatively, the opening can be marked by drawing around the frame when it is held against the wall/ceiling. Make sure that it is held straight. Create a groove for the hinge that protrudes slightly from the top and base of the frame.
- It is recommended to use suitable filler between the frame and the base to ensure a good seal.
- The frame has to fix brackets on two sides (4 in total) with alternative fixing holes (0 3.5 mm), Figure 3. The brackets are fixed to studs in the wall on two sides of the opening. Alternatively, the frame can be fixed using a suitable adhesive with adequate strength. Suitable fixing materials must be used on concrete walls.
- Install the door by reinserting the spring-loaded hinge. Lock the door with the enclosed key.
