PWB-CMU8-HNGWHT-C Hinged Cover

Product Information: FSR PWB-CMU8-HNGWHT-C

The FSR PWB-CMU8-HNGWHT-C is a hinged cover with a door latch
designed for installation in walls. It comes with hardware for
installation and a lock assembly for added security. The cover can
be rotated 180 degrees to position the door latch on either the
left or right side of the door.

Product Usage Instructions:

Installation of Finish Cover

1. Remove and discard the construction cover and hardware.
2. Install the hinged cover with the provided hardware.
3. Rotate the cover 180 degrees to position the door latch on the
   desired side of the door.

Handle Lock Installation:

1. Remove the lock assembly from the bag.
2. Remove the screw, cam, and nut from the lock.
3. Ensure that the lock housing and handle are oriented as shown,
   then slip the lock assembly into the door.
4. Install the nut on the lock housing.
5. Orient the cam as shown and secure it onto the lock with the
   screw.

Flush Lock Installation:

1. Remove the lock assembly from the bag.
2. Remove the C-clip from the lock and remove the cam.
3. Insert the key, rotate the housing to the left-hand limit,
   orient the key parallel to the top or bottom door edge, then slip
   the lock assembly into the door hole.
4. Install the nut on the lock housing.
5. Orient the cam as shown and secure it onto the lock with the
   C-clip.

2. INSTALL HINGED COVER WITH HARDWARE PROVIDED. COVER CAN BE ROTATED 180 TO POSITION DOOR LATCH TO LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF DOOR.

HANDLE LOCK INSTALLATION:

1.

REMOVE LOCK ASSEMBLY FROM BAG, THEN REMOVE SCREW, CAM AND NUT

FROM LOCK.

2.

MAKE SURE LOCK HOUSING (NOTE LOCK PIN LOCATION) AND HANDLE ARE

ORIENTED AS SHOWN, THEN SLIP LOCK ASSEMBLY INTO DOOR.

3.

INSTALL NUT ON LOCK HOUSING.

4.

ORIENT CAM AS SHOWN AND SECURE ONTO LOCK WITH SCREW.

FLUSH LOCK INSTALLATION:

1.

REMOVE LOCK ASSEMBLY FROM BAG, THEN REMOVE C-CLIP FROM LOCK AND

REMOVE CAM.

2.

INSERT KEY, ROTATE HOUSLING TO LEFT-HAND LIMIT, ORIENT KEY PARALLEL TO

TOP OR BOTTOM DOOR EDGE, THEN SLIP LOCK ASSEMBLY INTO DOOR HOLE.

3.

INSTALL NUT ON LOCK HOUSING.

4.

ORIENT CAM AS SHOWN AND SECURE ON LOCK WITH C-CLIP.
