Product Usage Instructions

  1. Before starting the installation process, ensure that the power
is shut off at the fuse or circuit breaker. This is important for
    safety.
  2. Remove the old fixture, including the mounting hardware, from
the fuse box or circuit breaker box.
  3. Carefully unpack the new fixture and lay out all the parts in a
clean area. Take care not to misplace any small parts necessary for
    installation.
  4. Adjust the arms of the fixture to the proper position as shown
    in Fig. 4.
  5. Thread the fixture loop (H) onto the all thread (J) of the
    upper assembly (K).
  6. Secure the stems (M) to the all thread (O) of the socket
assembly (S), and then thread the upper assembly (K) to the stem
    (M).
  7. Place bolts (N) through holes on top of the frame assembly (R)
and tighten them with plastic washers and finials (Q).
  8. Thread the all thread (C) into the center lock hole of the
crossbar (A) using a lock washer (Y1) and hex nut (Y2) until snug.
Adjust the length of all thread (C) into the crossbar if
    necessary.
  9. Mount the crossbar (A) assembly to the ceiling junction box
using the provided mounting screws (B). Ensure that the side of
crossbar (A) marked GND faces out.
  10. Attach the quick link (F) to the fixture loop (H) and chain
(G). Close the quick link completely when installed. Determine the
correct number of links needed for the desired hanging height and
use chain pliers to open one end link of the chain. Discard excess
chain and attach the quick link (F) to the loop on the bottom of
the canopy (D), then close the quick link (F). Lace the fixture
wires through the chain links and pull until tight. Feed the wires
through the canopy and all thread, then pull until tight.
  11. Use the provided support cable (I) to support the weight of the
fixture while wiring. Align the fixture to the crossbar (A) and
attach the hook (T) on the end of the support cable (I) into a slot
located on crossbar (A). Carefully allow the support cable (I) to
support the weight of the fixture while wiring.
  12. Connect the electrical wires as shown in Fig. 3, ensuring that
all wire connectors are secured. If your junction box has a ground
wire (green or bare copper), connect the fixture’s ground wire to
it. Otherwise, connect the fixture’s ground wire directly to the
crossbar using the provided green screw.
  13. Tuck the wire connections neatly into the junction box.
  14. Attach the canopy (D) over the end of the all thread (C) and
secure it with the hex nut (Y2) until snug.
  15. Thread the finial (E) onto the end of the all thread (C) and
    hand tighten it snugly.
  16. Install up to 8 candelabra base bulbs (P) with a maximum
wattage of 60 watts each, or CFL or LED equivalent bulbs, according
to the fixture specification. Do not exceed the maximum wattage
    rating.
  17. Once the installation is complete, return power to the junction
    box and test the fixture.
