Product Usage Instructions:

To use the MZ High Range Compound Switches, follow the
installation and configuration instructions below:

Installation:

  1. Refer to the installation drawing provided in the user
    manual.
  2. Mount the switch using the provided mounting bracket.
  3. Ensure that the switch is securely fastened and the enclosure
    is properly sealed.
  4. Connect the electrical cables to the separate terminal
    block.
  5. Use the cable gland to secure the cables and provide additional
    protection.
  6. Choose the appropriate cable entry size (M20 x 1.5 threads)
    based on your requirements.

Configuration:

To configure the MZ High Range Compound Switches, follow the
steps below:

  1. Refer to the range selection table provided in the user manual
to determine the desired range code.
  2. Select the appropriate range code based on the desired pressure
    range in bar or psi.
  3. Determine the maximum working pressure for your application
    based on the range code.
  4. Choose the appropriate microswitch type based on your
    requirements.
  5. For actuation and/or deactuation at the same point, use a
separate DPDT relay with a separate power supply for its coil.
  6. For any non-standard options or further assistance, contact the
    sales office.

Note: The differential values may vary depending on the pressure
range selected and microswitch type. For actual values, please
contact the sales office.

Note:
1. The minimum differential increases with the setpoint. The differential values mentioned in the above table are approximate maximum for FSR. The differential value will vary according to the pressure range selected and microswitch type. For actual values of differential please contact sales office.
2. When using 2SPDT switching arrangement, both microswitches may not actuate and/or deactuate at the same point. A small stage gap, normally upto +/- 5% FSR (depending on range code) may be observed. The On-Off differential (hysterisis) typically tends to be atleast double of those published for 1SPDT pressure switches.
If actuation and/or deactuation at same point is critical part of operation, then it can be achieved by using a separate DPDT relay. This relay will need a separate power supply for it’s coil.
