KS 5500iEG S Running Generator in Gasoline Mode

COMMISSIONING OF A INVERTER GENERATORS

1. Please read the operating manual carefully before getting started.
2. Connect the terminals to the battery: “+” to “+” (red), “-” to “-” (black).
3. Fill the engine with motor oil for engines SAE 10W-30 or SAE 10W-40.
4. Check oil level.
5. Check fuel level.
6. Close the gas valve on the cylinder.
7. Set the fuel switch FUEL CHOICE to GASLONE.
8. For manual start turn MAIN POWER button to “ON” position, pull the manual starter until a slight resistance is felt, then pull it toward you relatively sharply. Slowly turn  the manual starter by hand, do not release it abruptly.
   8.1 For electric start – turn MAIN POWER button to “ON” position, then press the ELECTRIC START button.
