Spike 1 Speaker Lighting Rotation System
Product Information: Speaker Light Kit Rotation System
The Speaker Light Kit Rotation System is a lighting system
designed for pinball machines featuring popular themes such as Game
of Thrones, Ghostbusters, KISS, and Wrestlemania. It comes with a
Spike 1 rotation system and is powered by a 5V power supply, which
is connected to the 12V power supply of the pinball machine. The
kit includes a controller board, a small black voltage transformer,
and a remote control.
Note:
It is recommended to unplug the pinball machine before opening
and mounting to avoid any damage to the device or the lighting
system.
Product Usage Instructions
- Open the backbox of the pinball machine and fold down the
cover. - Place a soft object between the bezel and the disc to take the
pressure off the bezel and avoid scratches on the siderails. - Unscrew the speaker and mount the Speaker Light Kit on the
bracket where the speaker was sitting before. The opening with the
cables must point towards the DMD. - Mount the speaker on the Speaker Light Kit. If the speaker
system has an additional mounted capacitor, it has to be fixed at
the UPPER screw to avoid short circuits. - Connect the controller board to the Speaker Light Kit via the
3-pin connector. - Connect the system to the pinball machine.
- Make sure that + and – are not interchanged while mounting the
connector on the board. (+) = red cable (-) = black cable. - Place the voltage transformer (small black box) in the backbox
and close the cover. - Reconnect the power plug and start the system.
- Use the remote control to set the colors fixed or select an
effect.

Note in advance: The SpeakerLigtKit Rotation System works with a 5V power supply. It is powered by the 12 V power supply of the pinball machine. It should only be connected as described in this manual in order not to cause damage to the device or the lighting system. Even if working with a low voltage, it is recommended to unplug the pinball machine before opening and mounting.
Assembly: Open the backbox and fold down the cover. It is recommended to put a soft object between the bezel and the disc to take the pressure off the bezel and avoid scratches on the siderails.
Unscrew the speaker. Mount the SpekerLightKit on the bracket where the speaker was sitting before. The opening with the cables must point towards the DMD. Mount the speaker on the SpeakerLightKit. If the speaker system has an additional mounted capacitor, it has to be fixed at the UPPER screw, because it could cause a short circuit at the side.
The right and left loudspeaker are identical in mounting.
Connect the controller board to the SpeakerLightKit via the 3-pin connector and connect the system to the Pinball.
When mounting the connector on the board, make sure that + and – are not interchanged. (+) = red cable (-) = black cable
