PNi UF400 UHF Antenna with Magnetic Base Instructions
Introduction
Radio antenna operating in the 430-470 MHz frequency range, suitable for both cars and trucks, compatible with all UHF 430-470 MHz radios on the market. Very easy to install thanks to the included magnetic base.
Installation
- Fix the antenna on the magnetic base (included) and mount it on the middle of the car dome.
- Connect the PL259 plug to a UHF radio.
- Test the SWR in an open area using a reflectometer. In some cases, it may be necessary to raise or shorten the wire to obtain an optimal SWR value.
For maximum performance, it is recommended that this procedure called tuning be performed by authorized personnel with special equipment.
