What’s in the Box

Battery

1. This flash unit has built-in 1800mAh Li-ion battery which is non-detachable.
2. It is reliably safe. The inner circuit is against overcharge, overdischarge, overcurrent, and short circuit.
3. Charge the battery by using the 5V 2A charger.

Cautions:

1. No over 24 hours’ continuous charging.
2. Store in dry, cool, ventilated places.
3. Do not put aside or into fire.
4. Dead batteries should be disposed according to local regulations.
5. Please charge the battery to approx. 70% before being placed for long time.
6. If the battery had ceased using for over 3 months, please make a full recharge.
7. It’s normal that the battery will be degraded after a period’s usage for the battery life limitation.

Operation

1. Light Setting
   1.1 Power ON/OFF Please push the power switch onto ON to power on the light and the current parameters will be displayed. Push the power switch to OFF to power the light off.
   1.2 Mode Selection: CCT Mode/Colorful Mode/Light Effects Mode
   Long press the M button to switch different modes: displayed CCT means bicolor mode and HSI means colorful mode.
   Press FX button to enter light effects mode. And the 13 categories modes and icons will be displayed.
   1.3 Installation and Multi Usage
   The light can be fixed on the equipment with cold shoe or hot shoe through its cold shoe mounting base. It can be fixed on the equipment with 1/4”sockets e.g. pan-tilt, tripod and light stand. With built-in magnet in its back, this light can be absorbed on the subjects with iron surface. And the three cold shoe sockets enable this light to be installed on the equipment with cold shoe mounting base.
   
2. CCT mode:
   long-press the M button to choose this mode.
   2.1 Short press the M button to choose the value to be adjusted.
   2.2 Color temperature adjustment: press the upper adjustment button to increase the color temperature value while lower button to decrease. Short press the button once and the color temperature value will changes in 100K. Long press the button to adjust the value from 3200K to 6500K quickly.
   2.3 Brightness adjustment: press the upper adjustment button to increase the brightness value while lower button to decrease. Short press the button once and the color temperature value will changes in 1%. Long press the button to adjust the value from 0 to 100% quickly.
3. Colorful mode:
   long press the M button to choose this mode.
   3.1 Short press the M button to choose the value to be adjusted.
   3.2 H hue adjustment: press the upper adjustment button to increase the hue value while lower button to decrease.
   Short press the button once and the hue value will changes in 1°. Long press the button to adjust the value from 0 to 360° quickly.
   3.3 S Saturation adjustment: press the upper adjustment button to increase the saturation value while lower button to decrease. Short press the button once and the
   saturation value will changes in 1. Long press the button to adjust the value from 0 to 100 quickly.
   3.4 Brightness adjustment: press the upper adjustment button to increase the brightness value while lower button to decrease. Short press the button once and the
   brightness value will changes in 1%. Long press the button to adjust the value from 0 to 100% quickly.
4. FX Light Effects Mode (13 categories)
   4.1 Press the FX button to enter light effects modes. Then, short press the FX button to switch the 13 effects in recycle while long pressing to change them quickly. 4.2 There are 13 categories to be selected according to your demands.

Maintenance

• Shut down the device immediately should abnormal operation be detected.
• Avoid sudden impacts and the product should be dedusted regularly.
• It is normal for the light beads to be warm when in use. Avoid continuous flashes if unnecessary.
• Maintenance of the light must be performed by our authorized maintenance department which can provide original accessories.
• This product, except consumables, is supported with a one-year warranty. Lithium battery is supported with six months warranty.
• Unauthorized service will void the warranty.
• If the product had failures or was wetted, do not use it until it is repaired by professionals.
• Changes made to the specifications or designs may not be reflected in this manual.

Applicable Products
The document applies to the products listed on the Product Maintenance lnformation (see below for further information). Other products or accessories (e.g. promotional items,giveaways and additional accessories attached,etc.) are notincluded in this warranty scope.

Warranty Period
The warranty period of products and accessories isimplemented according to the relevant Product Maintenancelnformation. The warranty period is calculated from the day(purchase date) when the product is bought for the first time,And the purchase date is considered as the date registered onthe warranty card when buying the product.

How to Get the Maintenance Service
If maintenance service is needed, you can directly contact the product distributor or authorized service institutions. You can also contact the Godox after-sale service call and we will offer you service. When applying for maintenance service, you should provide valid wananty card. If you cannot provide valid warranty card, we may offer you maintenance service once confirmed that the product or accessory is involved in the maintenance scope, but that shall not be considered as our obligation.

Inapplicable Cases
The guarantee and service offered by this document are not applicable in the following cases:①. The product or accessory has expired its warranty period;②. Breakage or damage caused by inappropriate usage, maintenance or preservation, such as improper packing, improper usage, improper plugging in/out external equipment, falling off or squeezing by external force, contacting or exposing to the improper temperature, solvent, acid, base, flooding and damp environments, etc;③. Breakage or damage caused by non-authorized institution or staff in the process of installation, maintenance, alternation, addition and detachment;④. The original identifying information of product or accessory is modified, alternated, or removed;⑤. No valid warranty card;⑥. Breakage or damage caused by using illegally authorized, nonstandard or non-public released software;⑦. Breakage or damage caused by force majeure or accident;⑧. Breakage or damage that could not be attributed to the product itself. Once met these situations above, you should seek solutions from the related responsible parties and Godox assumes no responsibility. The damage caused by parts, accessories and software that beyond the warranty period or scope is not included in our maintenance scope. The normal discoloration, abrasion and consumption are not the breakage within the maintenance scope.

Warning

As this product do not have a waterproof function, please take measures of waterproof in a rainy or damp environment.
Do not use the flash unit in the presence of flammable gases, chemicals and other similar materials. In certain circumstances, these materials may be sensitive to the strong light emitting from this flash unit and fire or electromagnetic interference may result.
As this product has a built-in lithium battery, do not disassemble, impact, squeeze or put it into the fire. If serious bulge occurs, please do not use. Do not use or store the product if the ambient temperature reads over the range of -10°C to 40°C. Please charge the product with the included adapter and correctly operate it within the defined voltage and working temperate according to the instruction manual.
