Set-Up

1. Open shipping carton. Assembly > Unpacking.
2. Remove brackets.   Assembly > Remove Shipping Support Brackets.
3. Add oil.Assembly > Add Engine Oil.
   Recommended: 10W-30, up to 18.6 fl. oz. (550 ml) DO NOT overfill.
4. Move the generator outdoors. 
   Move generator to an open, outdoor area. Point exhaust away. Never run a generator in enclosed areas (e.g., not in house or garage). Keep all objects at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from the generator. The heat from the muffler and exhaust gas can ignite combustible materials. Start-Up 
5. Add fuel – Gasoline or Propane (LPG)
   Assembly > Add FuelFOR GASOLINE OPERATION: DO NOT USE E15 OR E85 
6. DO NOT plug in any electrical devices. NEVER START OR STOP THE GENERATOR WITH ELECTRICAL DEVICES CONNECTED OR TURNED ON!
   
7. 7a. Starting the Engine: GasolineManual Start: Gasoline
   1. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the gasoline “CHOKE” position.
   2. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
   3. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the gasoline “RUN” position.
   7b.  Starting the Engine: Propane (LPG)Manual Start: Propane (LPG)
   1. Open the propane tank valve.
   2. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the LPG “CHOKE” position.
   3. Pull the recoil 3-5 times to prime the engine.
   4. Turn the EZ Start Dial to the LPG “RUN” position.
   5. Pull the recoil to start the engine.
8. Operation > Connecting Electrical Loads.
