DO NOT FULLY RELY ON REVERSE CAMERA WHEN BACKING UP.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR SURROUNDINGS BEFORE BACKING UP.
INSTALLATION
- WIRE CONNECTION
Complete all required connections so that all lines are hidden in vehicle. - CAMERA INSTALLATION
Camera should be installed in the following configuration: License Plate Frame Mount Align camera frame with top-set of screw holes on license plate or license plate frame. Affix camera using license plate mount screws. See (diagram 1) Attention: The camera switch is controlled by reverse gear shift.
- TO REMOVE THE DISTANCE GUIDE LINES (Optional):
1. Turn the system OFF before proceeding.
2. Cut the white loop wire located at the connection points (camera end).
3. Insulate the wire, using tape or crimp connectors on both ends.
4. Reconnecting the wire will display the guide lines again. - TO INVERT CAMERA IMAGE:
1. Turn the system OFF before proceeding.
2. Cut the blue loop wire located at the connection points (camera end).
3. Insulate the wire, using tape or crimp connectors on both ends.
4. Reconnecting the wire will orient the image back to its original position.
Complete all required connections so that all lines are hidden in vehicle.
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
The following checklist might help to solve the problems when using this unit. Please double-check to ensure the connection and procedure of operation is done properly before using checklist.
| PROBLEM | CAUSE/SOLUTION |
| NO IMAGE | Check that power cable is securely connected. Check to ensure there is a good connection between video-in and monitor. Check that REVERSE GEAR is engaged. Check to ensure correct monitor setup. |
| IMAGE BLURRING | Check for water/water stain or dust on camera lens. Clean camera lens |
| IMAGE SHAKING | Check to insure camera is mounted and secured tightly. |
| IMAGE SLANTED | Adjust camera mounting bracket |
NOTE:
If problems persist consult nearest service dealer. DO NOT attempt to disassemble or modify unit.
