Product Information

The Original Convertible Hand Truck is a versatile and durable
product designed by Magline. It is equipped with various components
for efficient use and comes in two models: Gemini SR and Gemini JR.
The hand truck is shipped with a completion kit, which includes
necessary parts for assembly.

To ensure safe and efficient use, it is recommended to regularly
inspect the equipment and replace any damaged components
immediately.

Product Usage Instructions

Start by assembling the frame and handle components as shown in
the provided diagrams.
If your hand truck has extruded noses, follow the instructions
provided in the nose kit for installation.
Tighten all bolts securely using a torque of 120-140
in.-lbs.
If you are installing C5 stair climbers, refer to the C5 kit
instructions (Gemini Sr. models only).
For wheel configurations, refer to the washer configurations
provided. Note that quantities and configurations may vary for each
hand truck.
Place the deeper corner of the wheel on the outside of the
frame.
Securely tighten all screws and lock nuts on the handle using a
torque of 50-60 in.-lbs.
For Gemini JR, slide the upper handle out of the pivot sockets
and attach the pistol grips, ensuring they are angled upward
towards the top bend of the handle.
For Gemini SR, slide the upper handle into the pivot sockets,
ensuring that the pistol grip handles are oriented towards the
operator when pushing the hand truck.

Slide the upper handle out of the pivot sockets and slide the pistol grips onto the tubes, making sure that they are angled upward toward the upper handle’s top bend.

Line up the holes to correctly position handles. Secure with two 1/4″-20 x 1-7/8″ pan head screws and two lock nuts (torque specifications 50-60 in.-lbs.). Slide the upper handle into pivot sockets so that the pistol grip handles are oriented toward the operator when pushing the Gemini.

While the hand truck is in the upright position, orient the upper handle as shown in Figures 9b-9c. Slide the upper handle into the pivot sockets until at least 6″ of the handle end extends past the pivot sockets. Make sure the spreader rod and bracket assembly is oriented

as shown before sliding onto the upper handle; failure to do so will not allow the Gemini to lock in the 2-wheel position.

Insert the caster into the handle tube. Tighten load bolt and lock nut with the 9/16″ wrench and adjustable wrench or pliers; tighten to 23 ft.-lbs. torque.
