Description: The product is a field and panel mounting
intrinsically safe digital indicator. It operates on a 4/20mA
loop-powered system and displays the input current in engineering
units. The product is available in different models and sizes.

requirements Special Conditions for Safe Use: When installed
in Zone 0, the installation should prevent impact between the
aluminum label and iron/steel. In Group IIIC conductive dust
environments, the instrument terminals should have at least IP6X
protection. To avoid an electrostatic charge, the instrument
enclosure should only be cleaned with a damp cloth. When installed
in an Ex ta, tb px, py, pz, or e enclosure, the indicator will not
invalidate the enclosure certification, but it must be powered by a
suitably rated Zener barrier or galvanic isolator. Repair:
Faulty indicators should not be repaired by users. They should be
returned to BEKA associates or your local agent. Disposal:
Indicators should be correctly disposed of and not thrown in
household rubbish. Installation & Connections: For field
mounting models (BA304G, BA304G-SS, BA324G, BA324G-SS), there are
terminals for optional alarms and backlight. Terminals 2 and 4 are
internally linked for joining return 4/20mA wire. For panel
mounting models (BA307E, BA327E, BA308E, BA328E), there is a panel
clamp and a scale card tab for installation. Health & Safety
Requirements: The product complies with essential health and
safety requirements for loop-powered 4/20mA indicators.

When installed in Zone 0, installation shall be such that an ignition due to impact between aluminium label and iron/steel is excluded.
