TOA BX-41S Surface Mount Backbox

Product Information

The BX-41S is a Surface Mount Backbox designed for the MW-41BT Audio Interface. It is made of 18GA Steel with a black powder coat finish for the enclosure and 20GA Steel with a black powder coat finish for the door. The lock is made from either stainless steel or chrome/nickel plated steel, and it uses a CAM lock with a flat key style and a shutter, which is sealed at 90-degrees engage/disengage lock key removable in both positions. The backbox can be installed in indoor or mild wet environments when sealed correctly, and it uses a key lock mechanism for opening and securing the door. The product dimensions are 210 x 210 x 216 mm (8.25 x 8.25 x 8.5 in), and it weighs 1.54 kg (2.7 lbs).

Product Usage Instructions

1. Ensure that all components are included in the package: Sealing Gasket, Surface Mount Backbox, Sealing Plugs (4), MW-41BT (Not Included), Door, and Sealing Gasket (not shown; inside door around perimeter).
2. If mounting directly to a wall, tightly seal all edges to avoid water entry.
3. Mount the Surface Mount Backbox onto the wall using the Mounting Hole Pattern (mounting hardware not included).
4. Install the MW-41BT Audio Interface into the Surface Mount Backbox.
5. To open or secure the door, use the key lock mechanism.
