Product Usage Instructions
- Ensure that the product is compatible with the listed steel
frames or classified hollow metal steel composite type fire doors
for up to 3 hours of fire rating. - If using wood composite type fire doors, ensure that the
product is suitable for up to 1-1/2 hours of fire rating. - If using wood core fire doors, ensure that the product is
suitable for 20 minutes of fire rating without hose stream. - Install the panic saddle threshold on the designated door frame
or fire door according to the specified dimensions of 1/2 H x 5 W
(12.7 mm x 127 mm). - Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for proper installation
and secure attachment of the panic saddle threshold. - Ensure that the panic saddle threshold is securely fitted and
aligned with the door frame or fire door to provide effective
sealing against smoke and fire. - Regularly inspect and maintain the panic saddle threshold
according to the manufacturer’s guidelines to ensure its continued
effectiveness in fire protection.

INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS 1. Carefully measure to fit within the frame opening and make sure the WJOZl makes contact with door face when door is closed. 2. If necessary trim and notch the threshold ends to accommodate the side jamb stops. 3. Trim seal 1/8″ longer than the retainer threshold at each end. 4. Mark and drill pilot holes through the pre-drilled holes in the threshold and fasten with screws provided. Use a weatherproof sealant at all edges and joints. 5. Operate the door multiple times to ensure proper adjustment so as not to prevent the door from self-closing and latching.
