Installation

1 Making the electrical connections

Remove the preinstalled screws to remove the top of the light fixture (A). Remove the potective foam and resecure the top of the light fixture (A) using the previously removed screws.

Connect the black to black (power), the white to white

(neutral) and copper wire to ground wire with the wire nuts (AA) and secure with electrical tape (not included).

NOTE: If the wires from the fixture are the same color, attach the side with markings or letters to the black (positive) wire and the other to the white (neutral) wire.

2 Securing the light fixture
Secure the base (A) to the pole or base (not included) with the pre-assembled screws (BB).
CAUTION: To avoid any waterproofing problems, please make sure the light fixture fits the mounting surface perfectly during installation and use silicone sealant around the canopy for better sealing after installation.

Operation
1 Turning the light on
Turn the light switch on to activate the fixture.
If it is daylight, the fixture will not illuminate. To test the fixture, cover the photocell with electrical tape. Once you confirm the fixture illuminates, remove the electrical tape.
If it is daylight, the fixture may not illuminate with the electrical tape over the photocell, as the photocell can be sensitive. Wait until nighttime to confirm the fixture illuminates.
NOTE: Position the photocell fixture so that the light from the any other fixture or any other light does not shine directly onto the “eye,” as this will interfere with the normal operation of the photocell fixture.

Care and Cleaning
Clean the lamp with a soft, dry cloth. Do not use any cleaners with chemicals, solvents, or harsh abrasives.

Troubleshooting

Problem The bulb will not light.
The fuse blows or circuit breaker trips when the light is turned on.

Possible Cause The power is off. There is a faulty wire connection. The circuit breaker is off. There are crossed wires or the power wire is grounding out.

Solution Ensure the power supply is On. Check the wiring. Ensure the circuit breaker is in the On position. Check the wire connections. Contact a qualified electrician or call the Customer Service Team at 1-800-986-3460.
