TECHNICAL DATA
INSTRUCTION
- Pull out the legs of tripod.
- Use tightening screw to secure the extended legs in certain length.
- Spread the other two legs out in same length.
- To assemble the accessory tray, first line up notches.
- Then turn clockwise to make tray tabs lock into tripod brackets,
- Pull out the thread cover.
- Combine handle with AZ Altazimuth Mount.
- Place body tube.
- Tighten the body tube set screw.
- Slide finderscope base into body tube.
- Tight the screw on the finderscope base
- Pull down the metal stretching screw and slide finderscope into the hole on base.
- Adjust the three screws on base to make finderscope in the middle of the hole.
- Insert zenith mirror into the focuser.
- Tighten the screw on zenith screw.
- Insert 25mm eyepiece into zenith mirror.
- Insert 10mm eyepiece into zenith mirror.
- Insert 5mm eyepiece into zenith mirror.
- Installing 3X Barlow lens. (advise not use for viewing landscape)
- Insert 25mm eyepiece into 3X Barlow lens. (advise not use for viewing landscape)
- Insert 10mm eyepiece into 3X Barlow lens. (advise not use for viewing landscape)
- Insert 5mm eyepiece into 3X Barlow lens. (advise not use for viewing landscape)
- Open the objective lens cover.
- Turn the focuser wheel to make field clear
- .Finderscope’s observation. (inverted image)
CHARGING ACCESSORIES
- 40MM BAADER AstroSolar. Never attempt to view the sun when the BAADER AstroSolar is broken. .
- 90MM BAADER AstroSolar. Never attempt to view the sun when the BAADER AstroSolar is broken.
- Camera Support.
- DSLR adaper’s installing.
- Place the DSLR after red point to red point.
- Move cell phone camera to the center of the hole on the cell phone camera support, and hold it tightly, then tighten the set screw.
- Assemble two threaded ring with 10mm eyepiece.
- The assembled eyepiece should appear as pictured above.
- Combine the cell phone camera support and the assembled eyepiece
- Insert them into zenith mirror.
- 0pen your cell phone camera, then turn focuser wheel to make your field clear.
- Connected with small trippod, the cell phone camera support can let you watch Video convenient.

Can I watch wildlife with this telescope?
Absolutely!!! I use it more during the day than at night because I’m awake then. I’ve even watched leaves falling off the trees with it.
Can you buy additional lenses?

Will I be able to view the rings of Saturn with this telescope?
For those telling people they can see the rings of Saturn with this 80mm telescope, explain to everyone else exactly what eye pieces you are using and maybe upload some non-stacked, non software processed photos taken with the included cell phone mount, that also came with this.
How is this scope for deep space observations?
Deep space objects run a wide range of sizes and brightness. This this, or any 80 mm telescope, there are hundreds of stars, star clusters and double stars you can see.
can you use this telescope during the day? For example, to watch birds, etc..
Yes. you use it on the rifle range as a spotting scope… Also for game watching
Can I buy eyepieces separate?
Yes you can buy eyepieces separately.
Is the telescope aluminum?
It is most likely potted aluminum. It is not machined out of one block of Aluminum.
Does it come with a case?
It’s a little big, if you need a case, you can buy one.
Can I see Mars
Mars can be seen naked eye, so yes, you can see Mars. Mars is not always in the sky so you have to wait for it to pass close to the earth to see it as more than a small red/orange dot.
Can a camera be attatched to take pictures?
Yes, If you go with a DSLR they require and adapter, I only just got this along with the adapter and telescope eyepiece and tried in during the day,
Can I see Uranus with this glorified peep stick?
We didn’t have much luck with this telescope even looking at the moon much less stars or planets! Doubtful you would see Uranus! Did find it useful for watching wildlife across the lake though.
Is there an actual manual for this telescipe or online pdf file?
There is a quick set up guide with pictures. All the hard equipment has been pre assembled.
Would this model work for viewing wild life anywhere from 25 to 50 miles away on the mountain sides and tops?
25 to 50 miles is too far to be able to view something that’s the size of an animal. The only thing that I can recommend is a much more powerful telescope.
What IPhones is it compatible with for photos?
Works on my iPhone 6 that’s all I know for sure.
Is anyone able to attach this telescope to any dslr camera ?
It’s too flimsy for any camera. Get the Orion. Read their instructions first.
