4K 60Hz 4:4:4 HDMI & IR/R232 CAT5e Extender 70M
Introduction
HE02EIX is a 4K HDMI over HDBaseT™ extender that can use an Ethernet cable to send uncompressed HDMI, bi-directional IR, and RS232 signals with resolution up to 4K@60Hz 4:4:4 and transmission distance up to 70M. Its TX unit has a built-in local loop-out port that can connect with an extra HDMI display and its RX unit has dual HDMI outputs for signal distribution.

Cable
Link cable recommends using high-quality CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6a, CAT7 UTP / STP, or FTP cable. Poor quality cable or network connection or improper construction will cause unstable connection, video or sound disruptions, picture noise appears.

If connection through the wall socket, the cable length must be less than 5 meters between HDMI extender and the wall jack, as below drawing

Trouble Shooting
- The wiring must be away from any equipment with an electromagnetic wave, i.e.: mobile phone, microwave, radio equipment, fluorescent lamp, high voltage power lines.
- Under HDMI 2.0 mode, must use Premium certified HDMI cable.
- EDID pass-through for HE02EXT transmitter input and HE02EXR receiver output 1 only
- CEC works for HE02EXT transmitter input and HE02EXR receiver output 1 only.
- Under HDCP 2.2 mode: anyone who monitors HDCP authorization fail will cause no video status, other connecting monitors will be also failed. Then monitor testing must be done one by one to find which monitor HDCP failed.
- This device DBase port is not a general Ethernet signal; do not connect with Network devices to avoid damage.
- IR transmitters do not put near from receiver to avoid mutual interference.
