provided montage- and Gebrauchsanleitung (assembly and operating
instructions) to avoid any mishaps or damage to the product. The
product must be used, transported, and stored in an upright
position.
Warnings and Safety Information
- Ensure that the gas bottle is secured with a strap to prevent
it from falling over. - Always follow the manufacturer’s or lessor’s instructions for
using the gas bottle. - The gas bottle must be installed on a firm and level surface
when setting it up. - Read the national regulations regarding the maximum period of
use and the national provisions for the cylinder’s maximum
usability.

WARNUNG:
Die Gasdüse ist nicht abnehmbar. Die Gasflasche in einem leeren, belüfteten Bereich, fern von
Zündquellen (Kerze, Zigaretten, andere flammenerzeugende Geräte) wechseln. Nicht die Belüftungsöffnungen des Zylindergehäuses blockieren. Die Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung zum späteren Nachschlagen aufbewahren. Sicherstellen, dass der Druckminderer ordnungsgemäß verriegelt und funktionsfähig ist. Der Gasschlauch muss innerhalb der vorgeschriebenen Intervalle gewechselt werden.

Dieses Gas-Gerät ist zu dekorativen Zwecken und zur Verwendung im Freien oder in gut belüfteten Räumen konzipiert.
Beachte!
· Überprüfe den Lieferumfang auf Vollständigkeit und die Bestandteile auf Transportschäden. Sollten Teile fehlen oder beschädigt sein, wende dich an den Kundenservice (siehe Umschlag dieser Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung). Kleinere technische Änderungen, z. B. in Bezug auf das Montagematerial, behalten wir uns vor.
· Entferne eventuelle Folien, Aufkleber oder Transportschutz vom Gerät, jedoch niemals das Typenschild und eventuelle Warnhinweise!
Eine andere oder darüber hinausgehende Verwendung ist nicht zulässig. Dies gilt insbesondere für folgende vorhersehbare Fehlanwendungen:
Das Gerät nicht mit Holz, Holzkohle oder anderem Brennmaterial verwenden, ausschließlich mit Flüssiggas (Propan/ Butan) betreiben.
Das Gerät nicht zum Erhitzen von Lebensmitteln, Stoffen oder Materialien jeglicher Art verwenden.
Das Gerät niemals als Einbaugerät verwenden.
Dieses Gerät und die Gasflasche müssen gemäß den geltenden Vorschriften verwendet und gelagert werden.
Das Gerät ist für den privaten Gebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung bestimmt.
GASFLASCHE SICHERN
1. Die Gasflasche in den Unterschrank stellen.
2. Den Gurt um die Gasflasche legen und festziehen.
Das Gerät ausschließlich für den angegebenen Zweck und nur wie in dieser Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung gilt als bestimmungswidrig. Falsche Bedienung und unsachgemäße Behandlung können eine Beeinträchtigung der Funktion oder die Beschädigung des Gerätes, anderer Sachwerte sowie Personenschäden zur Folge haben.
Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße Behandlung, Beschädigung oder
Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für den normalen
Verschleiß sowie Verfärbungen am Gerät.

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
GEFAHR Verletzungsrisiken
Das Gerät ist nicht dafür bestimmt, von Kindern und Personen mit eingeschränkten physischen, sensorischen oder geistigen Fähigkeiten oder mangelnder Erfahrung und/oder mangelndem Wissen benutzt zu werden.
Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen. Sicherstellen, dass Kinder keinen unbeaufsichtigten Zugang zu dem Gerät haben, auch wenn es ausgeschaltet ist. Falsche Benutzung kann gefährlich sein.
Während des Betriebs werden einige Teile des Gerätes sehr heiß, insbesondere in der Nähe des Brenners. Das Gerät niemals unbeaufsichtigt lassen, wenn es in Betrieb oder noch heiß ist. Insbesondere aufpassen, dass keine Kinder sowie Personen, die nicht in der Lage sind, mögliche Gefahren richtig zu erkennen oder auf sie zu reagieren, oder Tiere in die Nähe des heißen Gerätes gelangen.
Während und nach der Benutzung des Gerätes nicht mit aufgeheizten Teilen in Berührung kommen! Ausschließlich den Regel- oder Zündknopf berühren während das Gerät in Betrieb ist oder unmittelbar nach dem Ausschalten. Warten, bis sich das Gerät abgekühlt hat, bevor es transportiert, gereinigt oder verstaut wird.
Das Gerät während des Betriebes nicht bewegen! Vor dem Bewegen des Gerätes sind das Ventil der Gasflasche oder des Druckminderers zu schließen.
GEFAHR Risiko von Erstickung, Brand und Explosion
L Gas ist sehr leicht entzündlich und verbrennt explosionsartig. Es kann zu schweren Personen- oder Sachschäden kommen, wenn sich ausströmendes Gas unkontrolliert entzündet. Flüssiggas ist schwerer als Sauerstoff. Es lagert sich daher am Boden ab und verdrängt dort den Sauerstoff. Wenn sich eine entsprechende Gaskonzentration bildet (z. B. bei einer beschädigten Gasflasche), kann es zur Erstickung infolge von Sauerstoffmangel kommen.
Das Gerät niemals an das Erdgasnetz (Stadtgasnetz) anschließen! Die Ventile und Düsen sind ausschließlich für Flüssiggasflaschen ausgelegt.
Die Verwendung dieses Geräts in geschlossenen Räumen ist GEFÄHRLICH und VERBOTEN. Das Gerät nur im Freien oder gut belüfteten Räumen, bei denen mindestens 25 % der Umschließungsfläche offen sind, verwenden. Die Umschließungsfläche ist die Summer aller Wandflächen.
Kleidung oder andere brennbare Materialien nicht am Gerät aufhängen. Das Gerät muss während des Betriebs von brennbaren Materialien ferngehalten werden. Der Mindestabstand zu brennbaren Materialien oder Stoffen: 2 m oberhalb und 1 m seitlich. Der Mindestabstand zu schwer entflammbaren Materialien, z. B. Hauswänden: 0,25 m.
Den Aufstellort des Gerätes so wählen, dass es auch bei starkem Wind nicht umkippen kann.
Das Gerät immer auf einen waagerechten und stabilen Untergrund stellen.
Das Gerät nicht benutzen, wenn sich in der Luft bzw. Umgebung leichtentzündliche oder explosive Substanzen befinden. Keinen Kraftstoff oder andere entflammbare Dämpfe oder Flüssigkeiten in der Nähe dieses Gerätes lagern und derartige
Stoffe nicht mit diesem Gerät verwenden. Keine Sprays in der Nähe des Gerätes sprühen.
Das Gerät niemals ohne einen Druckminderer verwenden (siehe Kapitel ,,Anforderungen an die gasführenden Komponenten” ,,Druckminderer”)!
Sicherstellen, dass der Druckminderer ordnungsgemäß verriegelt und funktionsfähig ist.
An Bauteilen, die vom Hersteller oder seinem Vertreter versiegelt wurden, dürfen keine Manipulationen vorgenommen werden.
Beim Anschließen der Gasflasche sicherstellen, dass die Umgebung im Umkreis von 5 m frei von Zündquellen ist. Insbesondere: Keine offene Flamme entzünden, nicht rauchen und keine elektrischen Verbraucher (Geräte, Lampen, Klingel usw.) schalten (Funkenüberschlag möglich).
Nach jedem Anschließen der Gasflasche muss die Dichtigkeitsprüfung aller gasführenden Komponenten erfolgen (siehe Kapitel ,,Dichtigkeitsprüfung”). Bei einem Gasleck darf das Gerät nicht benutzt werden.
Keine Öffnungen des Gerätes abdecken und sicherstellen, dass diese nicht verstopft sind, bevor das Gerät in Betrieb genommen wird. Z. B. durch Insekten verstopfte Schläuche oder Armaturen können den Gasfluss behindern, was die Leistung vermindern oder sogar einen gefährlichen Flammenrückschlag zur Folge haben kann. Die Reinigung des Gerätes wird im Kapitel ,,Reinigung und Wartung” beschrieben.
Niemals den Reglerknopf, die Gasflasche oder eines der gasführenden Elemente während des Betriebes demontieren.
Bei Gasgeruch die Gaszufuhr an der Gasflasche schließen und alle offenen Flammen löschen. Keine elektrischen Geräte einschalten und keine (Licht-)Schalter betätigen. Vor erneuter Inbetriebnahme des Gerätes die Ursache des Gasaustritts ermitteln und beheben.
Die Gasflasche und der Gasschlauch dürfen keine heißen Teile des Gerätes berühren.
Das Gerät nicht abdecken, solange es heiß ist.
Im Brandfall: Alle Ventile schließen! Nicht mit Wasser löschen! Flammen mit einer Löschdecke oder einem geeigneten Feuerlöscher ersticken.
Das Gerät nie unbeaufsichtigt lassen. Bei erloschener Flamme sofort neu zünden oder die Gasflasche schließen.
Nach Gebrauch sofort die Gasflasche schließen.
Immer zuerst das Ventil der Gasflasche schließen, bevor der Druckminderer getrennt wird.
Das Gerät nie mit einer angeschlossenen Gasflasche transportieren! Gerät und Gasflasche müssen immer getrennt voneinander transportiert werden.
Nicht die Belüftungsöffnungen des Unterschranks abdecken und sicherstellen, dass sie stets frei sind.
Das Gerät nur oberhalb der Erdgleiche (d. h. nicht in Vertiefungen unterhalb des Erdniveaus) benutzen.
Ausschließlich die in dieser Montage-und Gebrauchsanleitung angegebenen Gasarten, Gasflaschen, Druckminderer und Gasschläuche verwenden (siehe Kapitel ,,Anforderungen an die gasführenden Komponenten”).
Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen! Jede Änderung des Gerätes kann gefährlich sein.
Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich vom Hersteller bzw. Kundenservice durchgeführt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden. Sollte ein Schaden bemerkt werden oder im Falle einer Störung, unbedingt den Kundenservice (siehe Umschlag dieser Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung) kontaktieren. Das Gerät darf bis zur Instandsetzung nicht benutzt werden, da dies zu einer Fehlfunktion des Gerätes führen und die Verletzungsgefahr erhöhen kann.
Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Herstellers verwenden, um die Funktionsweise des Gerätes nicht zu beeinträchtigen und eventuelle Schäden oder Gefahren zu vermeiden.

GEFAHR Gefährdungen durch Gasflaschen
Die Vorgaben des Herstellers oder Verleihers der Gasflasche beachten!
Die Gasflasche darf nicht in Kinderhände gelangen! Niemals eine verbeulte oder rostige Gasflasche verwenden. Niemals eine Gasflasche mit beschädigtem Ventil verwenden. Eine Gasflasche niemals hinlegen. Die Gasflasche (auch leere)
immer in einer aufrechten sicheren Position installieren, transportieren und lagern.
Eine Gasflasche niemals fallen lassen bzw. Stößen aussetzen oder beschädigen.
Gasflaschen können bei Erwärmung explodieren. Eine Gasflasche niemals verbrennen oder extremer Hitze (über 50 °C) bzw. direkter Sonneneinstrahlung aussetzen. Eine Gasflasche nicht an einem heißen Tag im Auto lassen.
Gasflaschen nur im Freien bei guter Belüftung (d. h. nicht in z. B. Treppenhäusern, Fluren, Durchgängen und Durchfahrten) und oberhalb der Erdgleiche (d. h. nicht in Vertiefungen unterhalb des Erdniveaus) anschließen, benutzen und Lagern.
Eine undichte Gasflasche sofort auf eine gut belüftete Fläche im Freien stellen und dann vorschriftsmäßig entsorgen.
Bei Schwindelgefühl oder Übelkeit frische Luft atmen und ggf. einen Arzt aufsuchen.
Beim Aufstellen der Gasflasche ist auf einen festen und ebenen Untergrund zu achten.
Gasflaschen (auch leere), die nicht für die unmittelbare Verwendung angeschlossen sind, dürfen nicht direkt neben einem in Betrieb befindlichen Gerät, das mit Gas oder Strom angetrieben wird, gelagert werden.
Auch scheinbar leere Gasflaschen können noch Flüssiggas enthalten und müssen daher mit der gleichen Sorgfalt wie eine volle Gasflasche behandelt werden.
WARNUNG Gefährdungen durch Batterien
Batterien können beim Verschlucken lebensgefährlich sein. Daher Batterien und Gerät für junge Kinder unerreichbar aufbewahren! Wurde eine Batterie verschluckt, muss sofort medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch genommen werden. Es besteht Verätzungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure.
Sollte eine Batterie ausgelaufen sein, den Kontakt von Haut, Augen und Schleimhäuten mit der Batteriesäure vermeiden! Bei Kontakt mit Batteriesäure die betroffenen Stellen sofort mit reichlich klarem Wasser spülen und umgehend medizinische Hilfe in Anspruch nehmen. Es besteht Verätzungsgefahr durch Batteriesäure.
Ausgelaufene Batterien sofort aus dem Gerät nehmen und die Kontakte im Gerät reinigen.
Nur den im Kapitel ,,Technische Daten” angegebenen Batterietyp verwenden.
Immer alle Batterien ersetzen. Keine verschiedenen BatterieTypen, -Marken oder Batterien mit unterschiedlicher Kapazität benutzen.
HINWEIS Risiko von Material- und Sachschäden
Das Gerät schützen vor: Stößen, Minustemperaturen, lang anhaltender Feuchtigkeit, Regen, Schnee, Hagel oder anderen Witterungseinflüssen.
Niemals schwere Gegenstände auf das Gerät stellen. Die Batterien aus dem Gerät herausnehmen, wenn sie ver-
braucht sind oder das Gerät länger nicht benutzt wird, um Schäden zu vermeiden, die durch Auslaufen entstehen können.
ANFORDERUNGEN AN DIE GASFÜHRENDEN KOMPONENTEN
Das Gerät wird mit Flüssiggas (Liquefied Petroleum Gas, LPG oder LP-Gas) betrieben. Die Flüssiggase Propan, Butan sowie deren Gemische bleiben bei Raumtemperatur und geringer Kompression (< 10 bar) in einer Gasflasche flüssig. Wird die Gasflasche geöffnet, entweicht der Druck, die Flüssigkeit expandiert und geht in einen gasförmigen Zustand über.
Gasflasche
Ausschließlich Gasflaschen mit Propan- oder Butangas oder eine Mischung der beiden Gase verwenden. Die Gasflaschen müssen den nationalen Bestimmungen entsprechen und dürfen nicht größer sein als im Kapitel ,,Technische Daten” angegeben.
Druckminderer
Der Druckminderer sorgt dafür, dass das Gerät immer mit einem gleichmäßigen Gasdruck versorgt wird. Der mitgelieferte Druckminderer ist geprüft und CE-zertifiziert. Er entspricht der Europäischen Norm EN 16129. Ausschließlich den Druckminderer benutzen, der mit dem Gerät
geliefert wurde. Sollte das Gerät ohne einen Druckminderer ausgeliefert worden sein (länderabhängig), einen Druckminderer beschaffen, der passend zur Gasflasche ist und den nationalen Bestimmungen entspricht (siehe Kapitel ,,Technische Daten”).
Gasschlauch
Ausschließlich den Gasschlauch benutzen, der mit dem Gerät geliefert wurde. Sollte der Gerät ohne einen Gasschlauch ausgeliefert worden sein (länderabhängig), einen Gasschlauch beschaffen, der den nationalen Bestimmungen entspricht.
Der Gasschlauch (bzw. Schlauchleitung) darf nicht länger als 1,5 m sein und muss die Vorgaben der EN-Norm (EN 16436-1) erfüllen (siehe Kapitel ,,Technische Daten”).
Den Gasschlauch austauschen, wenn er das maximale Verwendungsdatum (siehe Kapitel ,,Technische Daten”) überschritten hat oder nationale Bestimmungen den Austausch erfordern.
Vor jeder Nutzung sicherstellen, dass der Gasschlauch keine Knickstellen oder Risse hat und nicht abgenutzt ist. Bei einem porösen oder defekten Gasschlauch darf das Gerät nicht in Betrieb genommen werden.
MONTAGE DES GERÄTES
BEACHTE! Halte Verpackungsmaterial von jungen Kindern und Tieren
fern! Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr.
Bevor du mit der Montage beginnst:
· Verwende nur einwandfreies und gut passendes Werkzeug. Mit abgenutztem oder nicht passendem Werkzeug kannst du die Schrauben nicht fest genug anziehen, aber auch so beschädigen, dass sie sich nicht mehr drehen lassen.
· Befolge die in dieser Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung abgebildeten Montageschritte in der richtigen Reihenfolge. Eine unsachgemäße Montage kann gefährlich sein.
· Achte auf ausreichend Platz für die Montage und verwende ggf. eine Unterlage, um das Gerät oder empfindliche Böden vor Kratzern zu schützen.
· Wende beim Zusammenbau keine Gewalt an. · Ziehe die Schraubverbindungen zunächst handfest und
nach erfolgreichem Montageschritt nochmals richtig an. Ansonsten kann es zu unerwünschten Spannungen kommen und die Glasscheiben könnten beschädigt werden.

Montageschritte:
1. Schraube 4 der mitgelieferten Winkel in den Ecken auf der Oberseite des Unterschranks (10) fest. Benutze dafür je eine der M5 x 30 mm-Schrauben (Bild B).
2. Schiebe eine Glasscheibe vorsichtig in die Winkel und schraube sie dort mit den M5 x 20 mm-Schrauben fest (Bild C). Wiederhole dies für die übrigen Glasscheiben.
3. Setze die übrigen 4 Winkel auf die Ecken der Glasscheiben und schraube sie mit den M5 x 20 mm-Schrauben fest (Bild D, E).
4. Zur Dekoration kannst du die mitgelieferten Lavasteine und Holzscheite aus Keramik um den Brenner (2) herum verteilen (Bild F). Wir empfehlen dir, dabei Handschuhe zu tragen, da die Lavasteine abfärben können. Achte darauf, dass die Lavasteine nicht die Zündbox (5) blockieren.
GASFLASCHE ANSCHLIESSEN
BEACHTE! Bevor du die Gasflasche anschließt, lese das Kapitel ,,Anforde-
rungen an die gasführenden Komponenten”. Alle Verbindungsstücke müssen frei von Schmutz und unbe-
schädigt sein. Die Gasflasche darf weder heiße Teile des Gerätes berühren
noch von der Wärmestrahlung erreicht werden. Der Gasschlauch darf nicht unter Spannung stehen, verdreht
oder geknickt sein und nicht das Gerät berühren. Stelle nach dem Anschließen der Gasflasche sicher, dass alle
Verbindungen dicht sind (siehe Kapitel ,,Dichtigkeitsprüfung”). Schraube den Druckminderer nur handfest! Verwende kein Werkzeug, damit die Dichtung des Ventils nicht beschädigt wird und dadurch die Dichtheit nicht mehr gewährleistet ist.
Wurde dein Gerät ohne einen Druckminderer und ggf. Gasschlauch geliefert, beschaffe diese. Berücksichtige dabei die Vorgaben im Kapitel ,,Anforderungen an die gasführenden Komponenten” ,,Druckminderer” bzw. ,,Gasschlauch”. 1. Stelle das Gerät im Freien oder in gut belüfteten Räumen auf
einem stabilen, waagerechten und ebenen Untergrund auf. Sorge für ausreichend Freiraum zu allen Seiten. 2. Sollte sich der Reglerknopf (6) am Gerät nicht auf Position OFF (aus) befinden, drücke und drehe ihn auf Position OFF. 3. Nimm die Tür (8) vom Unterschrank (10) ab: Halte sie an der Grifföffnung (9) und hebe sie heraus. 4. In der oberen linken Ecke des Unterschranks befindet sich der Gasanschluss des Gerätes. Befestige hier ein Ende des Gasschlauchs (falls er nicht bereits montiert ist) und, falls erforderlich, das andere Ende am Druckminderer. Hinweis: Die Schraubverbindungen haben ein Linksgewinde. 5. Stelle die Gasflasche aufrecht im sicheren Stand in den Unterschrank und fixiere sie mit dem Gurt (Bild G). 6. Schließe den Druckminderer wie in der zugehörigen Anleitung beschrieben an. Für den Fall, dass keine Anleitung zum Druckminderer vorhanden ist, werden nachfolgend einige der verschiedenen Anschlussvarianten beschrieben. Hinweis: Die Abbildungen können leicht abweichen. 7. Führe nach dem Anschließen der Gasflasche eine Dichtigkeitsprüfung durch (siehe Kapitel ,,Dichtigkeitsprüfung”).
Druckminderer mit Linksgewinde
(Bild H) 1. Schraube den Druckminderer handfest auf das Ventilgewin-
de der Gasflasche. Beachte, dass es ein Linksgewinde ist und gegen den Uhrzeigersinn gedreht werden muss. 2. Damit das Gas ausströmt und du das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen kannst, drehe das Ventil (a) an der Gasflasche gegen den Uhrzeigersinn.
Druckminderer mit Hebel
(Bild I) 1. Bewege den Hebel des Druckminderers (b) auf Aus-Position. 2. Drücke den Druckminderer auf das Gasflaschenventil, bis er
deutlich einrastet. 3. Damit das Gas ausströmt und du das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen
kannst, bewege den Hebel auf Ein-Position.
Druckminderer mit Manschette
(Bild J) 1. Bewege den Hebel des Druckminderers (b) auf Aus-Position. 2. Schiebe Sie die Manschette des Druckminderers nach oben und
halte sie da. 3. Drücke den Druckminderer auf das Gasflaschenventil und schie-
be die Manschette zum Schließen nach unten. 4. Falls der Druckminderer nicht einrastet, wiederhole den Vor-
gang. 5. Damit das Gas ausströmt und du das Gerät in Betrieb nehmen
kannst, bewege den Hebel auf Ein-Position.
Druckminderer entfernen
1. Stelle sicher, dass das Ventil der Gasflasche bzw. des Druckminderers geschlossen ist.
2. Drehe den Reglerknopf (6) des Gerätes auf, sodass das restliche Gas aus dem System entweichen kann.
3. Entferne den Druckminderer in umgekehrter Reihenfolge als die Montage erfolgte.
DICHTIGKEITSPRÜFUNG
BEACHTE! GEFAHR! Suche niemals mit einer offenen Flamme nach Gaslecks! Stelle vor der Überprüfung auf Lecks sicher, dass sich in der Nähe keine Funken bilden können und keine offenen Flammen befinden. Funken oder Flammen können eine Explosion auslösen, die zu schweren oder gar tödlichen Verletzungen oder Sachschäden führen kann.
Nach dem Erstanschluss, nach jedem Wechsel der Gasflasche oder, wenn das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt wurde, muss die Dichtigkeitsprüfung aller gasführenden Komponenten erfolgen, um sicherzustellen, dass aus keiner Verbindung Gas entweicht. Verwende dafür ein handelsübliches Lecksuchmittel oder eine Seifen-Wasser-Lösung (20 Teile Flüssigseife zu 80 Teilen Wasser) und eine Sprühflasche. Eine Dichtigkeitsprüfung nach Gehör ist nicht sicher! Beachte bei der Verwendung des Lecksuchmittels die Herstelleranweisungen. Bei der Benutzung einer Seifen-Wasser-Lösung gehe wie folgt vor: 1. Stelle sicher, dass sich der Reglerknopf (6) auf Position OFF
(aus) befindet. 2. Öffne die Gaszufuhr an der Gasflasche bzw. am Druckminderer. 3. Sprühe die Seifen-Wasser-Lösung auf den Gasschlauch und alle
Verbindungen zwischen Gerät und Gasflasche. 4. Wenn sich Blasen bilden oder eine Blase größer wird, ist die
entsprechende Stelle undicht. Drehe diesem Fall die Gaszufuhr sofort ab! 5. Ziehe die undichte Verbindung nach oder tausche ein undichtes Teil aus. 6. Wiederhole die Dichtigkeitsprüfung. Sollte es immer noch eine undichte Stelle geben, drehe die Gaszufuhr ab und kontaktiere den Kundenservice. Verwende das Gerät nicht! 7. Um Korrosion vorzubeugen, wasche nach Beendigung der Dichtigkeitsprüfung die Seifen-Wasser-Lösung mit Wasser ab und trockne alle nassen Teile mit einem Tuch.

BATTERIE DER ELEKTRISCHEN ZÜNDUNG EINSETZEN
Vor dem ersten Gebrauch muss eine 1,5 V-Batterie (AAA) in die elektrische Zündung eingesetzt werden: 1. Drehe den Zündknopf (7) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn, bis er sich
löst. 2. Setze die Batterie mit ihrem Minuspol voran in das Gerät ein
oder tausche sie ggf. aus. 3. Schraube den Zündknopf wieder an. · Tausche die Batterie bei nachlassender Leistung aus.
BENUTZUNG
BEACHTE! Verwende das Gerät nur dann, wenn sich sämtliche Teile an
ihrem Platz befinden und das Gerät ordnungsgemäß und in Übereinstimmung mit den Montageschritten in dieser Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung montiert wurde. Stelle vor jeder Benutzung sicher, dass das Gerät unbeschädigt sowie richtig aufgestellt ist. Beachte bei der Wahl des Aufstellortes das Kapitel ,,Sicherheitshinweise”. Stelle vor jeder Benutzung sicher, dass die Gasflasche sowie der Druckminderer richtig angeschlossen sind und alle gasführenden Teile dicht sind (siehe Kapitel ,,Gasflasche anschließen” und ,,Dichtigkeitsprüfung”). Es dürfen ausschließlich die mitgelieferten Holzscheite aus Keramik zu dekorativen Zwecken verwendet werden. Benutze niemals echtes Holz! Sollte die Flamme erlöschen oder das Gerät nicht gezündet haben, drehe den Reglerknopf auf Position OFF (aus) und warte ca. 2 bis 5 Minuten, bevor du es erneut versuchst, damit sich das Gas verflüchtigen kann. Ansonsten könnte es zu einer Verpuffung kommen. Beuge dich beim Zünden der Gasflamme nicht über den Brennraum, da es zu einer Verpuffung kommen kann, wenn sich dort Gas staut.
1. Stelle das Gerät im Freien oder in gut belüfteten Räumen auf einem stabilen, waagerechten und ebenen Untergrund auf. Sorge für ausreichend Freiraum zu allen Seiten.
2. Arretiere ggf. die Rollen (11), indem du die Bremshebel mit dem Fuß nach unten drückst.
3. Vergewissere dich, dass die Lavasteine nicht die Zündbox (5) blockieren.
4. Sollte sich der Reglerknopf (6) nicht auf Position OFF (aus) befinden, drücke und drehe ihn auf Position OFF.
5. Öffne das Ventil an der Gasflasche. 6. Drücke den Reglerknopf, drehe ihn gegen den Uhrzeigersinn auf
Position PILOT und halte ihn gedrückt.
L Nach dem Anschließen einer neuen Gasflasche halte ihn einen Moment lang gedrückt, damit sich das System mit Gas füllt, bevor der Brenner gezündet wird.
7. Bei gedrücktem Reglerknopf drücke den Zündknopf (7), bis sich die Zündflamme entzündet. Lasse den Reglerknopf erst 10 bis 20 Sekunden nach erfolgter Zündung los, damit die Flamme nicht erlischt.
8. Nun kannst du den Brenner anzünden: Drücke den Reglerknopf und drehe ihn auf Position HIGH.
9. Um die Flammen zu reduzieren, drehe den Reglerknopf zur Position LOW.
L Das Gerät verfügt über einen Kippschutz: Die Gaszufuhr wird bei starker Bewegung des Gerätes unterbrochen.
Gerät außer Betrieb nehmen
1. Zum Ausschalten drehe den Reglerknopf auf Position OFF. 2. Schließe das Ventil der Gasflasche. 3. Lasse das Gerät abkühlen, bevor du es bewegst.
AUFBEWAHRUNG
BEACHTE! Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch trenne die Gasflasche vom Gerät
und lagere sie ordnungsgemäß (siehe Kapitel ,,Sicherheitshinweise” ,,Gefahr Gefährdungen durch Gasflaschen”).
· Bewahre das Gerät im Freien an einem trockenen Platz und vor direkter Sonneneinstrahlung geschützt auf.
· Decke das Gerät (mit einer Wetterschutzhaube) ab, um die Bauteile vor Feuchtigkeit, Staub, Insekten oder Spinnen zu schützen, die in das Gehäuse des Gerätes gelangen und sich dort niederlassen könnten.
· Wird das Gerät im Innenbereich gelagert, muss es von der Gasflasche getrennt werden. Verschließe diese ordnungsgemäß mit Verschlussmutter und Schutzkappe (je nach Ausführung) und bewahre sie ist im Freien an einem gut belüfteten Ort auf.
· Nimm die Batterie aus der Zündung heraus, wenn du das Gerät längere Zeit nicht benutzt, um Schäden durch eventuelles Auslaufen der Batterie zu vermeiden.
REINIGUNG UND WARTUNG
BEACHTE! Nimm keine Reinigungstätigkeiten am Ventil des Druckmin-
derers vor! Es enthält sehr empfindliche Bauteile, die schon bei leichtem Kontakt mit anderen Gegenständen beschädigt werden könnten. Tauche den Druckminderer nicht in Wasser. Das Gassystem darf nur von einer qualifizierten Fachkraft gereinigt werden. Zerlege auf keinen Fall die Reglereinheit. Das Innere des Brenners sowie der Zündbox dürfen nicht nass werden! Vor dem Reinigen des Gerätes die Gasflasche trennen. Benutze keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel. Diese können die Oberflächen beschädigen. Benutze niemals Spiritus oder sonstige entzündbare Reiniger. Nach dem Reinigen müssen alle Teile trocken sein, bevor das Gerät eingeschaltet wird.
Reinungstätigkeiten
Damit du lange viel Freude an dem Gerät hast, solltest du es sauber halten. Während der Nutzung kann aus verdampftem Rauch Kohlenstoff entstehen, der sich am Gerät ablagert. Diese braunen und schwarzen Ablagerungen sehen so ähnlich wie Farbflecken aus, sind aber nicht giftig. · Reinige die Oberflächen mit einem weichen Lappen, warmen
Wasser und einem Haushaltsreiniger bzw. die Edelstahl-Oberflächen mit einem Edelstahlreiniger. Beachte die Angaben vom Hersteller des Reinigungsmittels. Wische alle Teile anschließend trocken. · Die Gasaustrittsöffnungen (3) und Lufteinlassöffnungen (4) müssen stets frei sein. Reinige sie bei Bedarf z . B. mit einem Pfeifenreiniger oder mit Druckluft. · Die Gasaustrittsdüse kannst du bei Bedarf mit einer Nadel reinigen. Gehe nicht weiter als bis zum Widerstand und wende keine Kraft an! · Den Gasanschluss sowie die Anschlüsse des Gasschlauches kannst du bei Bedarf mit einem weichen Pinsel reinigen.

· Lasse alle übrigen Komponenten des Gassystems ausschließlich von einer qualifizierten Fachkraft reinigen.
Wartungstätigkeiten
Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei. Trotzdem müssen in regelmäßigen Intervallen eine Kontrolle durchgeführt werden. Richte die Intervalle nach der Nutzungshäufigkeit und den Umgebungsbedingungen, denen das Gerät ausgesetzt ist. · Kontrolliere, ob alle Teile des Gerätes vorhanden und montiert
sind (Sichtkontrolle). · Kontrolliere, ob alle Verbindungen vorhanden und fest angezo-
gen sind. Ziehe sie ggf. nach. · Das Gassystem muss jedes Mal geprüft werden, wenn eine
Gasflasche angeschlossen wird (siehe Kapitel ,,Dichtigkeitsprüfung”). · Der Gasschlauch muss ersetzt werden, wenn er poröse oder beschädigte Stellen aufweist bzw. das maximale Verwendungsdatum (siehe Kapitel ,,Technische Daten”) überschritten hat.
FEHLERBEHEBUNG
Sollte es trotz hinreichender Sorgfalt und Pflege zu einer Störung kommen, kann dir dieses Kapitel helfen, diese zu beheben. Lässt sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten das Problem nicht lösen, kontaktiere den Kundenservice (siehe Umschlag dieser Montage- und Gebrauchsanleitung).
Versuche nicht, das Gassystem selbst zu reparieren!
Gasgeruch tritt auf (evtl. bei sehr gelber und schwacher Flamme).
Leckage im Gassystem. 1. Schließe sofort die Gasflasche. 2. Unterbinde jegliche Flammen- oder Funkenbildung (keine
elektr. Geräte schalten). 3. Ziehe alle Verschraubungen des Gassystems nach. 4. Überprüfe alle gasführenden Teile auf äußere Beschädigungen;
tausche defekte Teile gegen Original-Ersatzteile. 5. Kontrolliere die Dichtheit mit einem Lecksuchmittel.
Die Gasaustrittsdüse ist verstopft. Reinige die Gasaustrittsdüse mit einer Nadel.
Die Gasaustrittsöffnungen (3) oder Lufteinlassöffnungen (4) sind verstopft.
Reinige sie z. B. mit einem Pfeifenreiniger oder mit Druckluft. Sonstiges Gassystem ist verstopft.

Verpuffung oder blubbernde / knallende Geräusche
Flammenrückschlag aufgrund von Verstopfungen am Brenner. Schließe sofort das Gasflaschenventil. Warte 5 Minuten und nehme das Gerät erneut in Betrieb. Tritt die Störung weiterhin auf, reinige die Gasaustrittsöffnungen (3) oder Lufteinlassöffnungen (4) (siehe Kapitel ,,Reinigung und Wartung”). Ansonsten lasse das Gassystem von einer Fachkraft reinigen.
ENTSORGUNG
Zur Entsorgung des Gerätes zerlege es in seine Einzelteile und gib Metalle und Kunststoffe in die Wiederverwertung.
Entsorge das Verpackungsmaterial umweltgerecht und führe es der Wertstoffsammlung zu.
Das nebenstehende Symbol (durchgestrichene Mülltonne mit Unterstrich) bedeutet, dass Altgeräte nicht in den Hausmüll, sondern in spezielle Sammel- und Rückgabesysteme gehören. Besitzer von Altgeräten haben Altbatterien und Altakkumulatoren, die nicht vom Altgerät umschlossen sind und zerstörungsfrei entnommen werden können, aus dem Altgerät zu entnehmen und separat zu entsorgen (siehe auch Abschnitt zur Batterieentsorgung). Besitzer von Altgeräten aus privaten Haushalten können diese bei den Sammelstellen der öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträger oder bei den von Herstellern und Vertreibern im Sinne des ElektroG eingerichteten Rücknahmestellen unentgeltlich abgeben. Rücknahmepflichtig sind auch Geschäfte, die Elektro- und Elektronikgeräte auf dem Markt bereitstellen.
Batterien und Akkus dürfen nicht zusammen mit dem Hausmüll entsorgt werden. Verbraucher sind gesetzlich dazu verpflichtet, Batterien und Akkus einer getrennten Sammlung zuzuführen.
Batterien und Akkus können unentgeltlich bei einer Sammelstelle der Gemeinde / des Stadtteils oder im Handel abgegeben werden, damit sie einer umweltschonenden Entsorgung sowie einer Wiedergewinnung von wertvollen Rohstoffen zugeführt werden können. Bei einer unsachgemäßen Entsorgung können giftige Inhaltsstoffe in die Umwelt gelangen, die gesundheitsschädigende Wirkungen auf Menschen, Tiere und Pflanzen haben.
Batterien und Akkus nur in entladenem Zustand abgeben. Wenn möglich wiederaufladbare Batterien anstelle von Einwegbatterien verwenden. Bei lithiumhaltigen Batterien und Akkus vor der Entsorgung die Pole abkleben, um einen Kurzschluss zu vermeiden. Ein Kurzschluss kann zu einem Brand oder einer Explosion führen.

INTENDED USE
This gas device is intended for decorative purposes and for use outdoors or in well-ventilated rooms.
Other uses or uses which extend beyond this are not permitted. This applies in particular to the following possible misuses:
Do not use the device with wood, charcoal or another type of fuel; only ever operate it with liquefied petroleum gas (propane / butane).
Do not use the device to heat food, substances or materials of any kind.
Never use the device as a built-in device.
This device and the gas cylinder must be used and stored in accordance with the applicable regulations.
The device is designed exclusively for personal and not for commercial use.
Use the device only for the specified purpose and as described in these assembly and operating instructions. Any other use is deemed to be improper. Incorrect operation and incorrect handling may impair the function of or cause damage to the device, other material assets or personal injury.
The warranty does not cover faults caused by incorrect handling, damage or attempted repairs. The same applies to normal wear and tear and stains on the device.

SAFETY NOTICES
DANGER Risks of Injury
The device is not intended to be used by children and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and/or knowledge.
Children must not play with the device. Ensure that children do not have unsupervised access to the device, even when it is switched off. Incorrect use can be dangerous.
During operation some parts of the device will get very hot, particularly close to the burner. Never leave the device unsupervised when it is in operation or still hot. In particular, make sure that no children or persons who are not capable of correctly recognising or reacting to possible dangers or animals come near the hot device.
Do not come into contact with heated parts while or after using the device! Only ever touch the control knob or ignition button while the device is in operation or immediately after it has been switched off. Wait until the device has cooled down before it is transported, cleaned or stored away.
Do not move the device during operation! Before the device is moved, the valve of the gas cylinder or the pressure regulator must be closed.
DANGER Risk of Suffocation, Fire and Explosion
L Gas is extremely flammable and burns explosively. Serious personal injury or damage to property may occur if escaping gas ignites in an uncontrolled fashion. Liquefied petroleum gas is heavier than oxygen. It therefore settles at the bottom and displaces the oxygen there. If a corresponding concentration of gas forms (e.g. if a gas cylinder is damaged), this may result in suffocation owing to a lack of oxygen.
Never connect the device to the gas network (municipal gas network)! The valves and nozzles are only designed for liquid gas cylinders.
Using this device indoors is DANGEROUS and PROHIBITED. Only use the device outdoors or in well-ventilated spaces in which at least 25% of the surrounding wall area is open. The surrounding wall area is the total of all wall surfaces.
Do not hang clothing or other combustible materials on the device. The device must be kept away from combustible materials during operation. Minimum distance from combustible materials: 2 m above and 1 m at the sides. Minimum distance from low-flammability materials, e.g. building walls: 0.25 m.
Choose the location for setting up the device so that it cannot topple over even in strong wind.
Always place the device on a horizontal and stable surface. Do not use the device if there are highly flammable or explosive
substances in the air or surrounding space. Do not store fuel or other flammable vapours or liquids near this device and do not use such substances with this device. Do not spray any sprays near the device.
Never use the device without a pressure regulator (see the “Requirements Placed on the Gas-Carrying Components” chapter “Pressure Regulator”)!
Make sure that the pressure regulator is properly locked and in working order.
Components which have been sealed by the manufacturer or its agent must not be manipulated.
When you connect the gas cylinder, make sure that the surrounding area within a radius of 5 m is clear of any ignition sources. In particular: Do not ignite any naked flames, do not smoke and do not switch on any electrical consumers (devices, lamps, bells etc.) (possible spark discharge).
Each time the gas cylinder is connected a leak test must be performed on all gas-carrying components (see the “Leak Test” chapter). The device must not be used if there is a gas leak.
Do not cover any openings of the device and make sure that they are not blocked before the device is put into operation. For example, hoses or fittings which are blocked by insects may impede the flow of gas, which may reduce performance or even result in a dangerous flashback. The way the device is cleaned is described in the “Cleaning and Maintenance” chapter.
Never remove the control knob, the gas cylinder or one of the gas-carrying components while the device is operating.
If you smell gas, close the gas supply on the gas cylinder and extinguish all naked flames. Do not switch on any electrical equipment and do not operate any (light) switches. Find out the cause and fix the gas leak before you use the device again.
The gas cylinder and the gas hose must not touch any hot parts of the device.
Do not cover the device while it is still hot. In the event of a fire: Close all valves! Do not extinguish with
water! Smother flames with a fireproof blanket or a suitable fire extinguisher.
Never leave the device unattended. If the flame goes out, reignite it immediately or shut off the gas cylinder.
Shut off the gas cylinder immediately after use. Always close the valve of the gas cylinder first before the pres-
sure regulator is disconnected.
Never transport the device with a gas cylinder connected to it! The device and gas cylinder must always be transported separately from one another.
Do not cover the ventilation openings of the base cabinet and make sure that they are always clear.
Only use the device above ground level (i.e. do not use it in depressions below ground level).
Only ever use the gas types, gas cylinders, pressure regulators and gas hoses which are specified in these assembly and operating instructions (see the “Requirements Placed on the Gas-Carrying Components” chapter).
Do not make any modifications to the device! Any modification to the device may be dangerous.
Repairs may only be carried out by the manufacturer or customer service department in order to avoid any hazards. If you notice any damage or there is a fault, it is essential to contact the customer service department (see the cover of these assembly and operating instructions). The device must not be used until it has been repaired as this may lead to the device malfunctioning and the risk of injury.
Use only original accessories from the manufacturer in order to guarantee that there is no interference that may prevent the device from working and to avoid possible damage or hazards.
DANGER Hazards from Gas Cylinders
Note the specifications of the manufacturer or lender of the gas cylinder!
The gas cylinder must be kept out of the reach of children! Never use a gas cylinder that is dented or rusty. Never use a gas cylinder with a damaged valve. Never lay a gas cylinder on its side. Always install, transport and
store the gas cylinder (even an empty one) in an upright secure position.
Never drop a gas cylinder, subject it to impacts or damage it.

Gas cylinders may explode if they are heated. Never burn a gas cylinder or expose it to extreme heat (over 50°C) or direct sunlight. Do not leave a gas cylinder in a car on a hot day.
Only connect, use and store gas cylinders in an outdoor space with good ventilation (i.e. not in stairwells, corridors or passageways, for example) and above ground level (i.e. not in depressions below ground level).
Move an unsealed gas cylinder immediately to a well-ventilated space outdoors and then dispose of it in accordance with the regulations.
If you feel dizzy or nauseous, breathe fresh air and consult a doctor if necessary.
The gas cylinder must be set up on a solid and level surface. Gas cylinders (including empty ones) which are not connected
up for immediate use must not be stored directly next to an operating device that is being powered by gas or electricity.
Even gas cylinders which appear to be empty may still contain liquefied petroleum gas and must therefore be handled with the same care as a full gas cylinder.
WARNING Hazards from Batteries
Batteries can be deadly if swallowed. Batteries and the device should therefore be kept out of the reach of young children! If a battery is swallowed, immediate medical attention must be sought. There is a danger of burns from battery acid.
If a battery leaks, do not allow your skin, eyes and mucous membranes to come into contact with the battery acid! If you do touch battery acid, rinse the affected areas with plenty of clear water straight away and seek medical assistance immediately. There is a danger of burns from battery acid.
Remove batteries that have leaked from the device immediately and clean the contacts in the device.
Use only the battery type specified in the “Technical Data” chapter.
Always replace all batteries together. Do not use batteries of different types or brands, or batteries with different capacities.
NOTICE Risk of Damage to Material and Property
Protect the device from impacts, sub-zero temperatures, persistent moisture, rain, snow, hail or other weather conditions.
Never place heavy objects on the device. Take the batteries out of the device when they are dead or if
you will not be using the device for a prolonged period to prevent any damage that might occur if a battery leaks.
REQUIREMENTS PLACED ON THE GASCARRYING COMPONENTS
The device is operated using liquefied petroleum gas (LPG or LP gas). The LPGs propane, butane and their mixtures remain liquid at room temperature and low compression (< 10 bar) in a gas cylinder. When the gas cylinder is opened, the pressure escapes, the liquid expands and changes into a gas.
Gas Cylinder
Only ever use gas cylinders containing propane or butane gas or a mixture of the two gases. The gas cylinders must meet the national regulations and must not be bigger than is specified in the “Technical Data” chapter.
Pressure Regulator
The pressure regulator ensures that the device is always supplied with a consistent gas pressure. The pressure regulator supplied with the device has been tested and is CE-certified. It complies with the European Standard EN 16129. Only ever use the pressure regulator supplied with the device.
If the device has been supplied without a pressure regulator (dependent on country), purchase a pressure regulator that matches the gas cylinder and complies with the national regulations (see the “Technical Data” chapter).
Gas Hose
Only ever use the gas hose supplied with the device. If the device has been supplied without a gas hose (dependent on country), purchase a gas hose that complies with the national regulations.
The gas hose (or hose line) must be no longer than 1.5 m and must satisfy the specifications of the EN standard (EN 16436-1) (see the “Technical Data” chapter).
Replace the gas hose if it has exceeded the maximum use-by date (see the “Technical Data” chapter) or national regulations require it to be replaced.
Before each use, make sure that the gas hose does not have any kinks or tears and is not worn. If the gas hose has a leak or is defective, the device must not be put into operation.
ASSEMBLING THE DEVICE
PLEASE NOTE! Keep the packaging material away from young children and
animals! There is a danger of suffocation.
Before you start assembly:
· Only use tools in perfect condition that fit properly. If you use a tool that is worn or does not fit, you will not be able to tighten the screws firmly enough, but you may also damage them so that they can no longer be turned.
· Follow the assembly steps shown in these assembly and operating instructions in the correct order. Incorrect assembly can be dangerous.
· Ensure there is sufficient space to assemble the device and if necessary use a mat to protect the device or delicate floors from being scratched.
· Do not apply any force when assembling the device.
· First tighten the screw connections so they are hand-tight and then tighten them again properly once you have completed the assembly step. Otherwise this may cause unwanted tension and the glass panes might be damaged.

Assembly Steps:
1. Screw four of the brackets which are supplied with the device securely in the corners on the top of the base cabinet (10). Do this using one of the M5 x 30 mm screws in each case (Picture B).
2. Slide one pane of glass carefully into the brackets and screw it securely there using the M5 x 20 mm screws (Picture C). Repeat this for the rest of the glass panes.
3. Place the other four brackets on the corners of the glass panes and screw them securely using the M5 x 20 mm screws (Picture D, E).
4. For decoration, you can spread the lava rocks and ceramic logs that are supplied with the device around the burner (2) (Picture F). We recommend that you wear gloves to do this because the lava rocks may stain. Make sure that the lava rocks do not block the ignition box (5).
CONNECTING THE GAS CYLINDER
Pressure Regulator with Lever
(Picture I) 1. Move the lever of the pressure regulator (b) to the Off position. 2. Press the pressure regulator onto the gas cylinder valve until it
clearly engages. 3. To allow the gas to flow out and you to start operating the
device, move the lever to the On position.
Pressure Regulator with Sleeve
(Picture J) 1. Move the lever of the pressure regulator (b) to the Off position. 2. Slide the sleeve of the pressure regulator upwards and hold it
there. 3. Press the pressure regulator onto the gas cylinder valve and
slide the sleeve downwards to close it. 4. If the pressure regulator does not engage, repeat the process. 5. To allow the gas to flow out and you to start operating the
device, move the lever to the On position.
PLEASE NOTE! Before you connect the gas cylinder, please read the “Require-
ments Placed on the Gas-Carrying Components” chapter.
All connecting pieces must be free of any dirt and not be damaged.
The gas cylinder must not touch hot parts of the device or be within range of the heat radiation.
The gas hose must not be under strain, twisted or bent and must not touch the device.
When you have connected the gas cylinder, make sure that all connections are tight (see the “Leak Test” chapter). Only screw the pressure regulator hand-tight! Do not use a tool so that the seal of the valve is not damaged, which would compromise the leaktightness.
If your device has been supplied without a pressure regulator and a gas hose, if applicable, purchase them. When you do this, consider the specifications in the “Requirements Placed on the Gas-Carrying Components” chapter “Pressure Regulator” and “Gas Hose”.
1. Set up the device outdoors or in well-ventilated spaces on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Ensure there is sufficient clear space on all sides.
2. If the control knob (6) on the device is not in the OFF position, press and turn it to the OFF position.
3. Remove the door (8) from the base cabinet (10): Hold it by the handle opening (9) and lift it out.
4. The gas connection for the device is located in the top left corner of the base cabinet. Fix one end of the gas hose here (if it has not already been fitted) and, if required, fix the other end on the pressure regulator. Notice: The screw connections have a left-hand thread.
5. Place the gas cylinder upright securely in the base cabinet and fix it in place with the strap (Picture G).
6. Connect the pressure regulator as described in the associated instructions. In the event that you do not have any instructions for the pressure regulator, a few of the different connection variants are described below. Notice: The illustrations may differ slightly.
7. Perform a leak test after you have connected the gas cylinder (see the “Leak Test” chapter).
Pressure Regulator with Left-Hand Thread
(Picture H)
1. Screw the pressure regulator hand-tight onto the valve thread of the gas cylinder. Note that it is a left-hand thread and needs to be screwed anticlockwise.
2. To allow the gas to flow out and you to start operating the device, turn the valve (a) on the gas cylinder anticlockwise.
Removing the Pressure Regulator
1. Make sure that the valve of the gas cylinder or the pressure regulator is closed.
2. Open up the control knob (6) of the device so that the rest of the gas can escape from the system.
3. Remove the pressure regulator in the reverse order to how it was fitted.
LEAK TEST
PLEASE NOTE! DANGER! Never look for gas leaks using a naked flame! Before you check for leaks, make sure that no sparks can form and there are no naked flames nearby. Sparks or flames may trigger an explosion that can cause serious or even fatal injuries or material damage.
After you first connect it, each time you change the gas cylinder or if the device has not been used for a prolonged period, the leak test must be performed on all gas-carrying components in order to ensure that gas is not escaping from any of them. To do this, use a standard leak detector agent or a soap/water solution (20 parts liquid soap to 80 parts water) and a spray bottle. Performing a leak test by listening is not safe! Follow the manufacturer’s instructions if you are using a leak detector agent. If you are using a soap/water solution, proceed as follows: 1. Make sure that the control knob (6) is in the OFF position. 2. Open the gas supply on the gas cylinder or pressure regulator. 3. Spray the soap/water solution onto the gas hose and all connec-
tions between the device and gas cylinder. 4. If bubbles are formed or a bubble gets bigger, there is a leak at
the corresponding point. In this case, turn off the gas supply immediately! 5. Tighten the leaky connection or replace a part that has a leak. 6. Repeat the leak test. If there are still places with a leak, turn off the gas supply and contact the customer service department. Do not use the device! 7. To prevent corrosion, wash off the soap/water solution with water after you finish the leak test and dry all wet parts with a cloth.

INSERTING THE BATTERY OF THE ELECTRIC IGNITION
Before you first use it, a 1.5 V battery (AAA) needs to be inserted in the electric ignition: 1. Twist the ignition button (7) anticlockwise until it detaches. 2. Insert the battery in the device with its minus pole first or re-
place it if necessary. 3. Screw the ignition button back on. · Replace the battery if the performance starts to wane.
USE
PLEASE NOTE! Only use the device if all parts are in their designated place and
the device has been assembled properly in accordance with the assembly steps in these assembly and operating instructions. Each time before you use the device, make sure that it is undamaged and has been set up correctly. When you are choosing where to set up, note the “Safety Notices” chapter. Before each use, make sure that the gas cylinder and the pressure regulator have been connected correctly and all gas-carrying parts are leaktight (see the “Connecting the Gas Cylinder” and “Leak Test” chapters). Only the ceramic logs supplied with the device may be used for decorative purposes. Never use real wood! If the flame goes out or the device has not ignited, turn the control knob to the OFF position and wait approx. 2 to 5 minutes before trying again to allow the gas to dissipate. Otherwise there may be a deflagration. When you are igniting the gas flame, do not bend over the combustion chamber as there may be a deflagration if gas builds up there.
1. Set up the device outdoors or in well-ventilated spaces on a stable, horizontal and level surface. Ensure there is sufficient clear space on all sides.
2. If applicable, lock the castors (11) by pressing down the brake lever with your foot.
3. Make sure that the lava rocks do not block the ignition box (5). 4. If the control knob (6) is not in the OFF position, press and turn
it to the OFF position. 5. Open the valve on the gas cylinder. 6. Press the control knob, turn it anticlockwise to the PILOT posi-
tion and hold it pressed down.
L When a new gas cylinder is connected, hold it pressed down for a moment to allow the system to fill with gas before the burner is ignited.
7. With the control knob pressed down, press the ignition button (7) until the pilot flame ignites. Only let go of the control knob 10 to 20 seconds after ignition to ensure that the flame does not go out.
8. You can now light the burner: Press the control knob and turn it to the HIGH position.
9. To reduce the flames, turn the control knob towards the LOW position.
L The device features tilt protection: The gas supply is stopped if the device is moved too much.
Taking the Device Out of Operation
1. To switch it off, turn the control knob to the OFF position. 2. Close the valve of the gas cylinder. 3. Allow the device to cool down before you move it.
STORAGE
PLEASE NOTE! If you are not going to use the device for a prolonged period,
disconnect the gas cylinder from the device and store it properly (see the “Safety Notices” chapter “Danger Hazards from Gas Cylinders”).
· Store the device outdoors in a dry place that is protected from direct sunlight.
· Cover the device (with a weatherproof cover) to protect the components from moisture, dust, insects or spiders which might get inside the device and become established there.
· If the device is stored indoors, it must be disconnected from the gas cylinder. Seal it shut properly with a locking nut and protective cap (depending on the design) and store it in a well-ventilated place outdoors.
· Take the battery out of the ignition when you will not be using the device for a prolonged period to prevent damage caused by a possible battery leak.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
PLEASE NOTE! Do not perform any cleaning on the valve of the pressure
regulator! It contains very sensitive components which could be damaged even on slight contact with other objects. Do not immerse the pressure regulator in water. The gas system may only be cleaned by a qualified expert. Under no circumstances should you dismantle the controller unit. The inside of the burner and the ignition box must not get wet! Disonnect the gas cylinder before cleaning the device. Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents. They may damage the surfaces. Never use spirits or other flammable cleaning agents. After cleaning, all parts must be dry before the device is switched on.
Cleaning Tasks
To allow you to enjoy using your device for a long time, you should keep it clean. When you use the device, evaporating smoke may produce carbon that is deposited on the device. These brown and black deposits look like spots of paint, but are not toxic. · Clean the surfaces with a soft cloth, warm water and a
household cleaner, and clean the stainless steel surfaces with a stainless steel cleaner. Note the instructions provided by the manufacturer of the cleaning product. Then wipe all parts dry. · The gas outlet openings (3) and air inlet openings (4) must always be clear. Clean them if necessary for example with a pipe cleaner or with compressed air. · If required, you can clean the gas outlet nozzle with a needle. Stop when you feel some resistance and do not apply any force! · If you need to, you can clean the gas connection and the connections of the gas hose with a soft brush. · Only ever allow a qualified expert to clean any of the other components of the gas system.
Maintenance Tasks
The device does not require maintenance. Despite this, it must be checked at regular intervals. Base the intervals on how often it is used and the environmental conditions under which the device operates.

· The gas system must be checked each time that a gas cylinder is connected (see the “Leak Test” chapter).
· The gas hose must be replaced if it has leaky or damaged sections or the maximum use-by date (see the “Technical Data” chapter) has been exceeded.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If despite sufficient care and maintenance a fault does occur, this chapter may help you to fix it. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps below, contact the customer service department (see the cover of these assembly and operating instructions).
Do not attempt to repair the gas system yourself!
Smell of gas (possibly with very yellow and weak flame).
Leak in the gas system. 1. Shut off the gas cylinder immediately. 2. Do not create any flames or sparks (do not switch on any elect.
devices). 3. Tighten all the screw connections of the gas system. 4. Check all gas-carrying parts for external damage; replace defec-

DISPOSAL
To dispose of the device, dismantle it into its individual parts and recycle any metals and plastic.
Dispose of the packaging material in an environmentally friendly manner so that it can be recycled.
The adjacent symbol (crossed-out bin underlined) means that used devices should not be disposed of in the domestic waste, but should instead be taken to special collection and return systems. In the case of (rechargeable) batteries containing lithium, tape over the poles before you dispose of them to prevent a short circuit. A short circuit may cause a fire or explosion.

magée.
SANTS TRANSPORTANT DU GAZ
L’appareil fonctionne avec du gaz liquéfié (Liquefied Petroleum Gas (gaz de pétrole liquéfié), LPG (GPL) ou gaz LP). Les gaz liquéfiés que sont le propane, le butane ainsi que leurs mélanges restent en l’état liquide dans une bouteille de gaz à température ambiante et par faible compression (< 10 bar). À l’ouverture de la bouteille de gaz, la pression s’échappe, le liquide se détend et passe en un état gazeux.
Ne jamais poser une bouteille de gaz en position couchée. Même vide, la bouteille de gaz doit toujours être installée, transportée et stockée dans une position verticale et sûre.
Ne jamais laisser tomber une bouteille de gaz, la soumettre à des chocs ou l’endommager.
Bouteille de gaz
Utiliser exclusivement des bouteilles de gaz avec du gaz propane ou butane ou un mélange des deux gaz. Les bouteilles de gaz doivent répondre aux dispositions nationales et ne doivent pas

Le détendeur fourni est testé et certifié CE. Il répond à la norme européenne EN 16129.
Utiliser exclusivement le détendeur fourni avec l’appareil. Si l’appareil a été fourni sans détendeur (dépendant du pays), faire l’acquisition d’un détendeur compatible avec la bouteille de gaz et correspondant aux dispositions nationales (voir paragraphe « Caractéristiques techniques »).

Le flexible de gaz (ou la tuyauterie) ne doit pas être plus long que 1,5 m et doit répondre aux prescriptions de la norme EN (EN 16436-1) (voir paragraphe « Caractéristiques techniques »).
Remplacer le flexible de gaz s’il a dépassé la date d’utilisation maximale (voir paragraphe « Caractéristiques techniques ») ou si les dispositions nationales nécessitent le remplacement.
S’assurer avant chaque utilisation que le flexible de gaz ne présente pas de points de pliage ou de fissures et n’est pas usé. Il est interdit de mettre l’appareil en service si le flexible de gaz est poreux ou défectueux.

Étapes de montage :
1. Vissez à fond 4 des équerres fournies dans les coins sur le côté supérieur de l’armoire inférieure (10). Utilisez pour cela respectivement une des vis M5 x 30 mm (illustration B).
2. Insérez précautionneusement une vitre dans les équerres et vissez-les avec les vis M5 x 20 mm (illustration C). Répétez l’opération pour les vitres restantes.
3. Insérez les 4 équerres restantes sur les coins des vitres et vissez-les à fond avec les vis M5 x 20 mm (illustration D, E).
4. Pour la décoration, vous pouvez répartir autour les pierres de lave et la bûche en céramique autour du brûleur (2) (illustration F). Nous vous recommandons pour cette opération de porter des gants car les pierres de lave peuvent décolorer. Veillez à ce que les pierres de lave ne bloquent pas le boîtier d’allumage (5).

Ôter le détendeur

2. Ouvrez le bouton de réglage (6) de l’appareil de sorte que le gaz restant puisse s’échapper du système.
3. Ôtez le détendeur en suivant l’ordre inverse du montage.
Le flexible de gaz ne doit pas se trouver sous contrainte de ten-
sion, tordu ou plié et ne doit pas toucher l’appareil.

4. Le raccord de gaz de l’appareil se trouve dans le coin supérieur gauche de l’armoire inférieure. Fixez-y une extrémité du flexible de gaz (s’il n’est pas déjà monté) et, si nécessaire, l’autre extrémité sur le détendeur. Avis : les raccords vissés ont un filetage à gauche.
5. Posez la bouteille de gaz à la verticale en position stable dans l’armoire inférieure et fixez-la avec la sangle (illustration G).
6. Raccordez le détendeur comme décrit dans le mode d’emploi correspondant. Voici quelques-unes des variantes de raccordement si jamais aucun mode d’emploi n’est joint au détendeur. Avis : les illustrations peuvent varier légèrement.
7. Effectuez une vérification de l’étanchéité après avoir raccordé la bouteille de gaz (voir paragraphe « Vérification de l’étanchéité »).
Après le premier raccordement, après chaque changement de bouteille de gaz ou si l’appareil n’a pas été utilisé pendant une période prolongée, il faut procéder à une vérification de l’étanchéité de tous les composants transportant du gaz afin de s’assurer qu’aucun raccord ne laisse du gaz s’échapper.
Utilisez pour cela un détecteur de fuites ou une solution eau-savon (20 parties de savon liquide contre 80 parties d’eau) et un flacon pulvérisateur. Une vérification de l’étanchéité à l’oreille n’est pas sûre !
Suivez les instructions du fabricant lors de l’utilisation du détecteur de fuites. Procédez comme suit lors de l’utilisation d’une solution eau-savon :
1. Assurez-vous que le bouton de réglage (6) se trouve en position OFF (arrêt).
2. Ouvrez l’alimentation en gaz sur la bouteille de gaz ou sur le détendeur.
3. Pulvérisez la solution eau-savon sur le flexible de gaz et toutes les liaisons entre l’appareil et la bouteille de gaz.
4. Si des bulles se forment ou si une bulle grossit, c’est que l’endroit correspondant est non étanche. Dans ce cas, fermez immédiatement l’alimentation en gaz.
5. Resserrez la liaison non étanche ou remplacez une pièce non étanche.

7. Pour prévenir la corrosion une fois la vérification de l’étanchéité terminée, rincez la solution eau-savon avec de l’eau et séchez toutes les pièces humides avec un chiffon.

METTRE EN PLACE LA PILE DE L’ALLUMAGE ÉLECTRIQUE
Avant la première utilisation, une pile de 1,5 V (AAA) doit être insérée dans l’allumage électrique : 1. Faites tourner le bouton d’allumage (7) dans le sens inverse des

UTILISATION
Mettre l’appareil hors service
1. Pour arrêter l’appareil, faites tourner le bouton de réglage en position OFF (arrêt).
2. Fermez la vanne de la bouteille de gaz. 3. Laissez l’appareil refroidir avant de le déplacer.
RANGEMENT
À OBSERVER : En cas de non-utilisation prolongée, séparez la bouteille de
gaz de l’appareil et stockez-la correctement (voir paragraphe « Consignes de sécurité » « Danger Mises en danger par des bouteilles de gaz »).
À OBSERVER :
Utilisez l’appareil seulement si toutes les pièces se trouvent à leur place et si l’appareil a été monté correctement et conformément aux étapes de montage de ce guide de montage et d’utilisation.
Assurez-vous avant chaque utilisation que l’appareil est non endommagé et correctement installé. Observez le paragraphe « Consignes de sécurité » pour le choix du lieu d’installation.
Avant chaque utilisation, assurez-vous du bon raccordement de la bouteille de gaz et du détendeur ainsi que de l’étanchéité de toutes les pièces transportant du gaz (voir paragraphe « Raccorder la bouteille de gaz » et « Vérification de l’étanchéité »).
Pour la décoration, utilisez exclusivement la bûche en céramique fournie. N’utilisez jamais de vrai bois.
Si la flamme devait s’éteindre ou si l’appareil devait ne pas s’être allumé, faites tourner le bouton de réglage en position OFF (arrêt) et attendez environ 2 à 5 minutes avant d’essayer de nouveau afin que le gaz puisse se dissiper. Sinon, une déflagration pourrait se produire.
Ne vous penchez pas au-dessus de la chambre de combustion car une déflagration peut se produire si du gaz s’y est accumulé.

· Recouvrez l’appareil (avec une housse de protection contre les intempéries) afin de protéger les composants de l’humidité, de la poussière, des insectes ou des araignées qui pourraient pénétrer dans le boîtier de l’appareil et s’y installer.
· En cas de stockage de l’appareil à l’intérieur, il doit être séparé de la bouteille de gaz. Refermez cette dernière correctement avec l’écrou de fermeture et le capuchon de protection (selon la version) et stockez-la à l’extérieur dans un lieu bien ventilé.
· Si vous n’utilisez pas l’appareil sur une période prolongée, retirez la pile de l’allumage afin d’éviter des dommages occasionnés par une pile ayant coulé.
NETTOYAGE ET MAINTENANCE
À OBSERVER : Ne procédez à aucune activité de nettoyage sur la vanne du dé-
tendeur. Il contient des composants très sensibles : un contact très léger avec d’autres objets peut suffire pour les endommager. Ne plongez pas le détendeur dans de l’eau. Le système de gaz doit être nettoyé seulement par du personnel qualifié. Ne démontez en aucun cas l’unité de détendeur. L’intérieur du brûleur ainsi que le boîtier d’allumage ne doivent pas être mouillés. Avant le nettoyage de l’appareil, séparer la bouteille de gaz de l’appareil. N’utilisez pas de produits de nettoyage corrosifs ou abrasifs. Ceux-ci pourraient endommager les surfaces. N’utilisez jamais d’alcool à brûler ou d’autres produits de nettoyage inflammables. Après le nettoyage, toutes les pièces doivent être sèches avant de mettre l’appareil en marche.
L Après le raccordement d’une nouvelle bouteille de gaz et avant d’allumer le brûleur, gardez-le pressé un moment afin que le système se remplisse de gaz.
Activités de nettoyage
Pour que vous puissiez profiter longtemps de votre appareil, il est indiqué de le garder propre.
7. Tout en gardant le bouton de réglage pressé, pressez le bouton d’allumage (7) jusqu’à ce que la flamme d’allumage s’allume. Une fois l’allumage effectué, attendez 10 à 20 secondes avant de relâcher le bouton de réglage afin que la flamme ne s’éteigne pas.
8. Vous pouvez maintenant allumer le brûleur : pressez le bouton de réglage et faites le tourner en position HIGH (haut).
9. Pour réduire les flammes, faites tourner le bouton de réglage en position LOW (bas).
L L’appareil est muni d’une protection contre le basculement : l’alimentation en gaz est interrompue en cas de fort mouvement de l’appareil.
En cours d’utilisation, la fumée évaporée peut véhiculer du carbone qui se dépose sur l’appareil. Ces dépôts bruns et noirs ressemblent à des taches de peinture, mais ne sont pas toxiques.
· Nettoyez les surfaces avant un chiffon doux, de l’eau chaude et un nettoyant ménager, et le cas échéant les surfaces en acier inoxydable avec un nettoyant pour l’acier inoxydable. Observez les indications du fabricant du produit de nettoyage. Ensuite, essuyez toutes les pièces.
· Les ouvertures de sortie de gaz (3) et les ouvertures d’entrée d’air (4) doivent toujours être libres. Nettoyez-les si nécessaire, par exemple avec un cure-pipe ou avec de l’air comprimé.
· Si nécessaire, vous pouvez nettoyer la buse de sortie de gaz avec une aiguille. N’allez pas plus loin que jusqu’à la résistance et ne forcez pas.

· Si nécessaire, vous pouvez nettoyer le raccord de gaz ainsi que les raccords du flexible de gaz avec un pinceau doux.
· Faites nettoyer tous les autres composants du système de gaz exclusivement par du personnel qualifié.
Opérations de maintenance
Cet appareil est sans maintenance. Néanmoins, un contrôle doit être effectué à intervalles réguliers. Adaptez les intervalles à la fréquence d’utilisation ainsi qu’aux conditions environnementales auxquelles l’appareil est exposé.
La flamme vacille fortement.
La buse de sortie de gaz est bouchée. Nettoyez la buse de sortie de gaz avec une aiguille.
Les ouvertures de sortie de gaz (3) ou les ouvertures d’entrée d’air (4) sont bouchées.
Nettoyez-les par exemple avec un cure-pipe ou avec de l’air comprimé.
Le reste du système de gaz est bouché. Faites nettoyer le système de gaz par un spécialiste.
· Vérifiez que toutes les pièces de l’appareil sont présentes et montées (contrôle visuel).
· Vérifiez que toutes les connexions sont présentes et bien serrées. Resserrez-les le cas échéant.
· Le système de gaz doit être contrôlé à chaque raccordement d’une bouteille de gaz (voir paragraphe « Vérification de l’étanchéité »).
· Le flexible de gaz doit être remplacé s’il présente des zones poreuses ou endommagées ou s’il a dépassé la date maximale d’utilisation (voir paragraphe « Caractéristiques techniques »).
Déflagration ou bruits de bulles / de détonation
Retour de flamme en raison d’une obstruction du brûleur.
Fermez immédiatement la vanne de la bouteille de gaz. Attendez 5 minutes et remettez l’appareil en marche. En cas de persistance de la panne, nettoyez les ouvertures de sortie de gaz (3) ou les ouvertures d’entrée d’air (4) (voir paragraphe « Nettoyage et maintenance »). Sinon, faites nettoyer le système de gaz par un spécialiste.
DÉPANNAGE
En cas de panne malgré un soin et un entretien suffisants, ce paragraphe peut vous aider à y remédier. S’il n’est pas possible de résoudre le problème selon les indications suivantes, contactez le service après-vente (voir la couverture de ce guide de montage et d’utilisation).
N’essayez pas de réparer vous-même le système de gaz !
MISE AU REBUT
Pour éliminer l’appareil, il faut le démonter en pièces détachées et amener les métaux et les plastiques au recyclage.
Jetez le matériel d’emballage dans le respect de l’environnement et apportez-le dans le point de collecte prévu à cet effet.
Le symbole ci-contre (conteneur à déchets barré et souligné) signifie que les appareils usagés ne doivent pas être jetés avec les ordures ménagères, mais déposés dans des centres de collecte et de recyclage spécifiques.
Une odeur de gaz se produit (éventuellement accompagnée d’une flamme très jaune et faible).

Les propriétaires d’appareils usagés doivent en retirer les piles et batteries usagées qui peuvent en être extraites sans subir de dommages afin d’en assurer la mise au rebut séparément (voir également la section se rapportant à la mise au rebut des piles).
Les particuliers propriétaires d’appareils usagés peuvent les déposer gratuitement dans les points de collecte d’organismes de recyclage de droit public ou bien dans les points de recyclage mis en place par les fabricants et les revendeurs au sens de la loi allemande sur les équipements électriques et électroniques. Les commerces qui mettent des équipements électriques et électroniques sur le marché sont également tenus de les reprendre.
Les piles et les batteries ne doivent pas être éliminées avec les déchets ménagers. Les consommateurs sont tenus de recycler séparément les piles et les batteries.
Les piles et les batteries peuvent être déposées gratuitement dans les points de collecte communaux / de quartier ou des commerces en vue de leur mise au rebut respectueuse de l’environnement et d’une valorisation des matières premières qui les composent. Une mise au rebut impropre peut causer la diffusion dans l’environnement de substances toxiques ayant des effets nocifs sur la santé des personnes, des animaux et des végétaux.
Faites nettoyer le système de gaz par un spécialiste.

Les piles et batteries doivent être déposées uniquement en l’état déchargé. Utiliser si possible des piles rechargeables à la place des piles à usage unique. Avant la mise au rebut, isoler les pôles des piles et des batteries au lithium avec du ruban adhésif afin d’éviter un court-circuit. Un court-circuit peut en effet causer un incendie ou une explosion.

WAARSCHUWING:
De gasnozzle is niet afneembaar. Vervang de gasfles in een lege, geventileerde ruimte, buiten
bereik van ontstekingsbronnen (kaars, sigaretten, andere apparaten die vlammen genereren). Blokkeer de ventilatieopeningen van de cilinderbehuizing niet. Bewaar de montage- en gebruiksaanwijzing voor latere raadpleging. Zorg ervoor dat de drukregelaar correct is vergrendeld en goed werkt. DOELMATIG GEBRUIK

Dit gasapparaat is ontworpen voor decoratieve doeleinden en voor gebruik buiten of in goed geventileerde ruimtes.
Attentie!
· Controleer of de levering compleet is en of de onderdelen geen transportschade hebben opgelopen. Mochten er onderdelen ontbreken of beschadigd zijn, neem dan contact op met de klantenservice (zie cover van deze montage- en gebruiksaanwijzing). Kleinere technische wijzigingen, bijv. met betrekking tot het montagemateriaal, behouden wij ons voor.
· Verwijder eventuele folie, stickers of transportbescherming van het apparaat, maar nooit het typeplaatje en eventuele waarschuwingen!
Een ander of verdergaand gebruik is niet toegestaan. Dit geldt met name voor de volgende voorspelbare verkeerde toepassingen:
Gebruik het apparaat niet met hout, houtskool of ander brandmateriaal, maar uitsluitend met vloeibaar gas (propaan / butaan).
Gebruik het apparaat niet om levensmiddelen, stoffen of willekeurig welk ander materiaal te verwarmen.
Gebruik het apparaat nooit als inbouwapparaat.
Dit apparaat en de gasfles moeten volgens de geldende voorschriften worden gebruikt en opgeborgen.
Het apparaat is bedoeld voor privégebruik, niet voor commerciele doeleinden.
GASFLES BORGEN
1. Zet de gasfles in de onderkast. 2. Leg de riem om de gasfles en trek deze vast.
Gebruik het apparaat alleen voor het genoemde doel en uitsluitend zoals beschreven in deze montage- en gebruiksaanwijzing.
Elk ander gebruik geldt als oneigenlijk. Verkeerde bediening en
ondeskundige behandeling kunnen de werking van het apparaat
belemmeren en kunnen beschadiging van het apparaat, van
andere zaken en letselschade veroorzaken.
Alle gebreken die ontstaan door ondeskundige behandeling, beschadiging of reparatiepogingen zijn uitgesloten van garantie.
Dit geldt ook voor de normale slijtage en verkleuren van het
apparaat.

VEILIGHEIDSAANWIJZINGEN
GEVAAR verwondingsrisico’s
Het apparaat is niet bedoeld om gebruikt te worden door kinderen en personen met beperkte lichamelijke, zintuiglijke of geestelijke vaardigheden of gebrek aan ervaring en/of gebrekkige kennis.
Kinderen mogen niet met het apparaat spelen. Zorg ervoor dat kinderen niet zonder toezicht bij het apparaat kunnen komen, ook als het uitgeschakeld is. Verkeerd gebruik kan gevaarlijk zijn.
Tijdens de werking worden sommige delen van het apparaat erg heet, met name in de buurt van de brander. Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht wanneer het aan staat of nog heet is. Let er met name op dat er geen kinderen en personen die niet in staat zijn om mogelijke gevaren goed in te schatten of erop te reageren, of dieren in de buurt van het hete apparaat komen.
Zorg dat je tijdens en na gebruik van het apparaat niet in aanraking komt met verwarmde delen! Raak tijdens de werking van het apparaat of direct na het uitschakelen ervan uitsluitend de regel- of ontstekingsknop aan. Wacht tot het apparaat is afgekoeld voordat het getransporteerd, gereinigd of opgeborgen wordt.
Beweeg het apparaat niet tijdens gebruik! Alvorens het apparaat te bewegen moet de kraan van de gasfles of van de drukregelaar worden gesloten.
GEVAAR risico van verstikking, brand en explosie
L Gas is zeer licht ontvlambaar en verbrandt explosief. Er kan ernstige letsel- of materiële schade ontstaan wanneer uitstromend gas ongecontroleerd ontvlamt. Vloeibaar gas is zwaarder dan zuurstof. Het hoopt zich aan de grond op en verdringt daar de zuurstof. Wanneer een bepaalde gasconcentratie ontstaat (bijv. bij een beschadigde gasfles), kan dat leiden tot verstikking als gevolg van zuurstofgebrek.
Sluit het apparaat nooit aan op het aardgasnet (stadsgasnet)! De kranen en nozzles zijn uitsluitend ontworpen voor vloeibaar gas in flessen.
Gebruik van dit apparaat in gesloten ruimtes is GEVAARLIJK en VERBODEN. Gebruik het apparaat alleen buiten of in goed geventileerde ruimtes waarbij minstens 25 % van het omringende oppervlak open is. Het omringende oppervlak is de som van alle wandoppervlakken.
Hang kleding of andere brandbare materialen niet op aan het apparaat. Het apparaat moet tijdens gebruik uit de buurt van brandbare materialen worden gehouden. De minimale afstand tot brandbare materialen of stoffen: 2 m boven en 1 m opzij. De minimale afstand tot moeilijk ontvlambare materialen, bijv. huiswanden: 0,25 m.
Kies de locatie voor het apparaat zo dat het ook bij sterke wind niet kan omvallen.
Zet het apparaat altijd op een horizontale en stevige ondergrond.
Gebruik het apparaat niet wanneer er licht ontvlambare of explosieve stoffen in de lucht of in de omgeving aanwezig zijn. Sla geen brandstof of andere ontvlambare dampen of vloeistoffen op in de buurt van dit apparaat en gebruik zulke stoffen niet met dit apparaat. Spuit niet met sprays in de buurt van het apparaat.
Gebruik het apparaat nooit zonder drukregelaar (zie hoofdstuk ‘Eisen aan de gasvoerende componenten’ `Drukregelaar’)!
Zorg ervoor dat de drukregelaar correct is vergrendeld en goed werkt.
Onderdelen die door de fabrikant of zijn vertegenwoordiger verzegeld werden, mogen niet gemanipuleerd worden.
Zorg er bij het aansluiten van de gasfles voor dat de omgeving in een omtrek van 5 m vrij is van ontstekingsbronnen. Met name: geen open vlam ontsteken, niet roken en geen elektrische verbruikers (apparaten, lampen, deurbellen e.d.) schakelen (vonkoverslag mogelijk).
Na het aansluiten van de gasfles moeten elke keer alle gasvoerende componenten op lekkages gecontroleerd worden (zie hoofdstuk `Lektest’). Bij een gaslek mag het apparaat niet gebruikt worden.
Dek geen openingen van het apparaat af en zorg ervoor dat deze niet verstopt zijn, alvorens het apparaat in gebruik te nemen. Bijv. door insecten verstopte slangen of armaturen kunnen de gasstroom belemmeren, wat het vermogen vermindert of zelfs kan leiden tot een gevaarlijke vlamterugslag. De reiniging van het apparaat staat beschreven in het hoofdstuk `Reiniging en onderhoud’.
Demonteer tijdens gebruik nooit de regelknop, de gasfles of een van de gasvoerende elementen.
Sluit de gastoevoer op de gasfles als je gas ruikt en doof alle open vlammen. Schakel geen elektrische apparaten in en bedien geen (licht-)schakelaars. Alvorens het apparaat weer in gebruik te nemen moet je de oorzaak van het uitlopende gas zoeken en verhelpen.
De gasfles en de gasslang mogen geen hete onderdelen van het apparaat raken.
Dek het apparaat niet af zolang het heet is. In geval van brand: sluit alle kranen! Blus niet met water! Doof
vlammen met een blusdeken of een geschikte brandblusser.
Laat het apparaat nooit zonder toezicht. Als de vlam uitgaat moet je die meteen weer ontsteken of de gasfles sluiten.
Sluit de gasfles meteen na gebruik. Sluit altijd eerst de kraan van de gasfles voordat je de drukrege-
laar eraf haalt.
Transporteer het apparaat nooit met een aangesloten gasfles! Apparaat en gasfles moeten altijd gescheiden van elkaar getransporteerd worden.
Dek de ventilatieopeningen van de onderkast niet af en zorg ervoor dat deze altijd vrij zijn.
Gebruik het apparaat alleen boven het maaiveld (d.w.z. niet in verdiepingen onder het bodemniveau).
Gebruik uitsluitend de in deze montage- en gebruiksaanwijzing vermelde gassoorten, gasflessen, drukregelaars en gasslangen (zie hoofdstuk `Eisen aan de gasvoerende componenten’).
Voer geen veranderingen uit aan het apparaat! Elke verandering aan het apparaat kan gevaarlijk zijn.
Reparaties mogen uitsluitend door de fabrikant of de klantenservice worden uitgevoerd om risico’s te vermijden. Mocht een schade geconstateerd worden of bij een storing dient altijd contact opgenomen te worden met de klantenservice (zie cover van deze montage- en gebruiksaanwijzing). Het apparaat mag tot de reparatie niet worden gebruikt aangezien dit tot verkeerd functioneren van het apparaat kan leiden en de kans op letsel kan verhogen.
Gebruik alleen origineel toebehoren van de fabrikant, om negatieve effecten op de werking van het apparaat en eventuele schade of gevaren te vermijden.
GEVAAR risico’s door gasflessen
Neem de voorschriften van de fabrikant of verhuurder van de gasfles in acht!
De gasfles mag niet in handen van kinderen belanden!

Gebruik nooit een gasfles met deuken of een roestige gasfles. Gebruik nooit een gasfles met een beschadigde kraan. Leg een gasfles nooit plat neer. Installeer, transporteer en be-
waar de gasfles (ook in lege toestand) altijd rechtop en veilig.
Laat een gasfles nooit vallen, stel hem niet bloot aan schokken en beschadig hem niet.
Gasflessen kunnen bij verwarming exploderen. Verbrand een gasfles nooit en stel hem niet bloot aan extreme hitte (boven 50 °C) of directe zonnestraling. Laat een gasfles op een warme dag niet in de auto liggen.
Gasflessen mag je alleen buiten bij goede ventilatie (d.z.w. niet in bijv. trappenhuizen, gangen, doorgangen en doorritten) en boven het maaiveld (d.w.z. niet in verdiepingen onder het bodemniveau) aansluiten, gebruiken en bewaren.
Zet een ondichte gasfles meteen buiten op een goed geventileerd oppervlak en verwijder hem dan volgens de voorschriften.
Adem bij duizeligheid of misselijkheid frisse lucht in en raadpleeg indien nodig een arts.
Bij het plaatsen van de gasfles moet op een stevige en vlakke ondergrond worden gelet.
Gasflessen (ook lege) die niet voor onmiddellijk gebruik zijn aangesloten, mogen niet meteen naast een apparaat dat in werking is en dat op gas of stroom werkt, worden bewaard.
Ook schijnbaar lege gasflessen kunnen nog vloeibaar gas bevatten en moeten daarom met dezelfde zorg worden behandeld als een volle gasfles.
WAARSCHUWING risico’s door batterijen
Batterijen kunnen bij inslikken levensgevaarlijk zijn. Bewaar batterijen en apparaat op een voor jonge kinderen onbereikbare plek! Bij inslikken van een batterij moet meteen medische hulp worden gezocht. Er bestaat verbrandingsgevaar door batterijzuur.
Mocht een batterij zijn uitgelopen, vermijd dan contact van huid, ogen en slijmvliezen met het batterijzuur! Spoel bij contact met batterijzuur de getroffen delen meteen met veel schoon water en zoek onmiddellijk medische hulp. Er bestaat verbrandingsgevaar door batterijzuur.
Haal uitgelopen batterijen meteen uit het apparaat en reinig de contacten van het apparaat.
Gebruik alleen het in het hoofdstuk `Technische specificaties’ vermelde type batterijen.
Vervang altijd alle batterijen. Gebruik geen verschillende batterijtypes en -merken of batterijen van verschillende capaciteit.
EISEN AAN DE GASVOERENDE COMPONENTEN
Het apparaat werkt op vloeibaar gas (Liquefied Petroleum Gas, LPG of LP-gas). De vloeibare gassen propaan, butaan en mengsels daarvan blijven op kamertemperatuur en bij geringe compressie (< 10 bar) in een gasfles vloeibaar. Wanneer de gasfles wordt geopend, ontsnapt de druk, de vloeistof zet uit en gaat over in een gasvormige toestand.
Gasfles
Gebruik uitsluitend gasflessen met propaan- of butaangas of een mengsel van beide gassen. De gasflessen moeten voldoen aan de nationale bepalingen en mogen niet groter zijn dan vermeld in het hoofdstuk `Technische specificaties’.
Drukregelaar
De drukregelaar zorgt ervoor dat het apparaat altijd een gelijkmatige gasdruk krijgt. De meegeleverde drukregelaar is gekeurd en heeft het CE-teken. Hij voldoet aan de Europese norm EN 16129. Gebruik alleen de drukregelaar die met het apparaat werd
geleverd. Mocht het apparaat zonder drukregelaar geleverd zijn (afhankelijk van het land), bezorg dan een drukregelaar die bij de gasfles past en die voldoet aan de nationale bepalingen (zie hoofdstuk `Technische specificaties’).
Gasslang
Gebruik alleen de gasslang die met het apparaat werd geleverd. Mocht het apparaat zonder gasslang geleverd zijn (afhankelijk van het land), bezorg dan een gassang die voldoet aan de nationale bepalingen.
De gasslang (of gasleiding) mag niet langer zijn dan 1,5 m en moet voldoen aan de voorschriften van de EN-norm (EN 164361) (zie hoofdstuk ‘Technische specificaties’).
Vervang de gasslang wanneer hij de maximale gebruiksduur (zie hoofdstuk `Technische specificaties’) heeft overschreden of wanneer nationale bepalingen eisen dat hij vervangen wordt.
Kijk voor elk gebruik goed of de gasslang nergens is geknikt, geen scheuren heeft en niet versleten is. Bij een poreuze of defecte gasslang mag het apparaat niet in gebruik worden genomen.
