Product Information: The Polaris Slingshot Front
Kick Panel Pods are specially designed for the Polaris Slingshot.
These pods are made of durable Polyethylene material and are
designed to maximize sound in your vehicle. Each pod can
accommodate one 6.5 speaker and one 3.8 bullet tweeter, allowing
you to enhance your stereo system’s performance. The pods come in
pairs for both the driver and passenger sides and feature a black
textured finish that matches the factory look of the vehicle. The
installation is easy and straightforward, using the supplied bolts
and brackets that fit directly into place. Product Usage
Instructions: 1. To begin the installation, remove the
factory speaker enclosures by using a T40 TORX socket to extract
the three screws securing each speaker enclosure. Disconnect the
factory connector and remove the speaker enclosure. If your vehicle
did not come with a factory speaker, you will need to remove one
T40 TORX screw on both the driver and passenger sides of the
vehicle. This screw secures the vehicle’s factory plastic side
panel to a bracket welded to the chassis tube. 2. Start assembling
the D, DD, and DDD brackets to the driver’s side kick pod using two
M6 washers and two M6 screws per bracket. Bracket DD should remain
loosely hand tightened during this step. Fully tighten brackets D
and DDD. Repeat the same process for the passenger side kick pod.
3. Installing the passenger kick pod will require temporarily
removing the factory glovebox. Open the glovebox door and release
the tabs located at the back of the compartment. Lift and remove
the glovebox. 4. Place the passenger kick pod into the vehicle,
pushing it as far forward as possible. This will allow you to angle
in the rear of the kick pod so that bracket P can rest between the
factory metal bracket and plastic side panel. 5. Once the bracket
is resting between both surfaces, tilt the front of the kick pod
into position. Next, tighten the brackets to the vehicle using
three M6 Thread Rolling Screws and three M6 washers. 6. If you have
an LED Control Module (LED-BTC), connect the wires as shown in the
provided diagram. Connect the blue LED (-), red LED (-), and green
LED (-) wires to the corresponding terminals. Connect the black 12V
DC (+) wire to the positive terminal and the white speaker (+) and
grey speaker (-) wires to their respective terminals. 7. If you
don’t have an LED Control Module (LED-BTC), connect the wires as
shown in the provided diagram, following the same instructions as
step 6. 8. The measurements for the driver side kick pod are
approximately 4.61 inches (117.17mm) in height and 14.37 inches
(365mm) in width. 9. The measurements for the passenger side kick
pod are approximately 15.87 inches (403.1mm) in height and 14.37
inches (365mm) in width. Please note that these instructions are a

with the official manual for accurate installation and usage

INTRODUCTION
If you’re looking to maximize sound in your Polaris Slingshot, you may consider adding this durable Polyethylene Front Kick Panel Enclosure by DS18. This enclosure allows you to mount one 6.5″ Speaker and one bullet tweeter that your stereo system deserves. This enclosure comes in pairs (Driver & Passenger) with a black textured finish to match the factory’s look. Very easy to Install using supplied bolts and brackets that fits directly into place.

INSTALLATION / INSTALACIÓN:
1. Remove the factory speaker enclosures using a T40 TORX socket to extract the (3) screws securing each speaker enclosure. Disconnect the factory connector and remove the speaker enclosure. If your vehicle did not come with a factory speaker you will need to remove (1) T40 TORX screw on both driver and passenger side of the vehicle. The screw secures the vehicle factory plastic side panel to a bracket welded to the chassis tube. (Picture 1)

2. Start by assembling D, DD, and DDD brackets to driver’s side kick pod using (2) M6 Washer and (2) M6 Screw per bracket. Bracket DD will need to remain loosely hand tightened during this step. Fully tighten bracket D and DDD. Repeat for passenger side kick pod. (Picture 2)

3. Installing the passenger kick pod will require the temporary removal of the factory glovebox. Open the glovebox door and release the tabs that are located at the back of the compartment. Lift and remove the glovebox. (Picture 3)

4. Place the Passenger kick pod into the vehicle pushing it as far forward as possible. This will allow you to angle in the rear of the kick pod so that bracket “P” is able to rest in between the factory metal bracket and plastic side panel. (Picture 4)

5.Once the bracket is resting between both surfaces tilt the front of the kick pod into position. 5. Next tighten the brackets to the vehicle using (3) M6 Thread Rolling Screws and (3) M6 washers. (Picture 5)

6. Re-Install Glovebox. 7. Before installing the driver’s side kick pod, start by tilting the steering wheel to its highest position. 8. Repeat steps 1-5 to install the driver’s side kick speaker pod. 9. Install the speakers using the speaker wires included, use the same line to connect the tweeter and make sure to use a bass blocker filter to it, if you are using RGB led speakers connect the LED to the supplied wiring harness. 10. Secure the speakers using stainless steel screws and tighten it, be careful not to over-tighten or the hole may be damaged and not properly secure the speakers. 11.This kit can use the factory amplifier or an aftermarket amp pre-installed with the speaker wires in this location, only after this step can you install the speakers using the aftermarket amp’s speaker wire and RGB LED wires (optional) of the LED module (LED -BTC not included). This concludes the installation of the SLG-FKP6 and it is ready to enjoy your new sound system upgrade!
