Installation Instructions for Malone Flush Mount

Product Usage Instructions:

1. First, ensure that you have a NEC compliant junction box
   available for installation.
2. Attach the mounting plate (5) to the junction box using screws
   (not included).
3. Attach the fixture base (2) to the mounting plate (5) using
   screws (not included).
4. Connect the wires from the fixture to the wires from the
   junction box according to the installation code.
5. Attach the shade (5) to the fixture base (2) using screws (not
   included).
6. Attach the diffuser (6) to the shade (5) using the collar nut
   (2).
7. Turn on power and test the fixture to ensure it is working
   properly.

Note: It is important to follow all safety guidelines and
installation codes when installing this product. If you are not
familiar with the construction and operation of the product or the
hazards involved, seek professional assistance.

1 Secure the mounting plate to the junction box. 2 Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes. 3 Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut. 4 Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut. 5 Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the fixture base onto the mounting studs, and secure it in place using the fixture screws. 6 Place the shade and diffuser onto the socket, then secure them in place by screwing the collar nut onto the socket. 7 Screw the lamp into the socket. Refer to the label on the socket for Max Wattage Information.
