Product Information: Codyn Pendant
The Codyn Pendant is a lighting fixture that is intended to be
installed using NEC compliant junction boxes. It is safety listed
for damp locations, making it suitable for use in areas with high
humidity levels. The product comes with a mounting plate, a canopy
collar nut, a shade, a shade collar nut, and lamps.
It is important to note that this product must be installed by a
person familiar with the construction and operation of the product
and the hazards involved, in accordance with the applicable
installation code. Failure to do so may result in fire hazards.
Installation Instructions:
- Begin by ensuring that you have all the parts required for
installation. - Attach the mounting plate to the junction box using screws and
a screwdriver. - Attach the stem to the mounting plate by inserting it into the
hole on the mounting plate and tightening it with screws and a
screwdriver. - Attach the canopy collar nut to the stem by screwing it onto
the stem. - Attach the half ball to the stem by sliding it onto the stem
and tightening it with screws and a screwdriver. - Insert the socket into the shade, ensuring that it is
secure. - Attach the shade collar nut to the socket by screwing it onto
the socket. Do not over tighten. - Attach the shade to the stem by sliding it onto the stem and
tightening it with screws and a screwdriver. - Insert the lamp into the socket. Refer to the label on the
socket for Max Wattage Information. - Ensure that all parts are securely attached and tightened.

1 Screw the half ball to the stem which will be on top. 2 Determine the wanted height or look of the fixture with the provided stems, then assemble them by screwing them together. 3 Feed the fixture wires through the stem assembly, then screw the stem assembly on top of the fixture. 4 Feed the fixture wires through the collar nut, canopy, and the half ball assembly then screw it onto the stem assembly. 5 Align and secure the mounting plate to the junction box, then slide the half ball assembly onto the mounting plate. 6 Connect the fixture to a suitable ground in accordance with local electrical codes. 7 Connect the white fixture wire (square and/or rigid) to the neutral power line wire with a wire nut. 8 Connect the black fixture wire (round and/or smooth) to the hot power line wire with a wire nut. 9 Neatly place all the wires into the junction box, place the canopy onto the mounting plate, and secure it in place by screwing the collar nut
tightly onto the mounting plate. 10 Place the shade on to the socket and secure it in place by screwing the shade collar nut onto the socket. Do not over tighten. 11 Screw the lamps into the sockets. Refer to the label on the socket for Max Wattage Information.
