- Unplug and remove the clean water tank from the back
- Place the handle in the upright position, not the storage position
- Press the trigger
- If it doesn’t spring back, remove handle, inspect for damage, and reassemble the handle making sure there is no gap between the handle and the body of the machine
- If it continues to spray, visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
