- Remove the clean water tank and make sure it does not leak when removed
- If it does, check the tank for cracks and replace the cap and insert
- If the machine is leaking from the spray bar, remove the handle and reinstall
- Using a long narrow object like a chop stick, knitting needle, or thin screw driver, push the item into the handle opening and pull the handle up to unlock and remove from the machine

- With the handle removed, place the tank back in the machine and check if it’s leaking
- If it is, please visit a BISSELL Authorized Service Center or Contact Us
- If it does not leak, push the trigger on the handle and check that the white plunger on the base of the removed handle goes down when pressed and replace the handle back on the machine
