DIRICKX Garden Plus Residential Gate

INSTALLATION

INSTALLATION OF EMBEDDED GATE

• Unpack the gate.
• Allow a depth of 50 cm for the embedding.
• The clearance under the gate must be 10 cm.
• Pour 15 cm of concrete into the bottom of the hole.
• Embed the post by filling the holes to the top.

INSTALLATION OF base-plated gate

• Cut the posts to length. Leave a space under the gate leaf of 10 cm and cut out the bottom of the post.
• Re-paint the bottom of the post.
• Drill 9 mm diameter holes for screws using the drilling template (next page).
• Place the bracket mounted on the plate in the post.
• Tighten the post and the plate with a washer and an M8x20 screw.

ASSEMBLY

ASSEMBLY OF THE HANDLE

• Insert the handle into the lock.
• Insert the screw into the handle.

ASSEMBLY OF THE HINGES

• Top hinge: put the « shaft » towards the bottom.
• Bottom hinge: put the « shaft » towards the top.

CHANGING THE DIRECTION OF OPENING

INSTALLATION OF THE STRIKE-PLATE

• Install your strike plate with the edges on one side or the other, depending on your choice of opening direction.
• Screw in the strike plate.

INVERTING THE LATCH

• Remove the lock by unscrewing the 2 screws that hold the lock.
• First method
  • Put a flat screwdriver into the groove, push and pivot the latch 180°.
• 2nd method
  • Push the cleat to extend the latch
  • Turn the latch
  • Push the latch back in

PUTTING THE LOCK BACK INTO PLACE

• Put back the lock
• Tighten up the two screws that hold the lock.
